  1. Les, the question about ticket distribution still has not been answered. Please give details.........
  2. Knox and Clay are from the 13th..........
  3. I would assume that she is awaiting clearance from the KHSAA....
  4. She is enrolled at Harlan County........
  5. Da'Bears D was stingy tonight! Great job Black Bears
  6. Sunday at 2pm @ Whitley Co HS
  7. This game was much closer than the score. Harlan County put up a fight, leading 7-4 in the fifth. They chased Greer from the mound in the 4th! HC just didn't have enough pitching to finish it off. Overall good showing by the Black Bears in the district tournament..........:thumb:
  8. :dancingpa Way to go Black Bears!!!!!!:dancingpa:taz:
  9. I believe it was Sears that pitched the complete game for North. HC platoon pitched............and no, that player was dismissed from the team and not allowed to return!
  10. How surprised were you when Harlan County beat South? :ohbrother:
  11. A solid game by the Black Bears. Paul David Creech pitched a gem tonight, going 6 1/3. A big win for the Bears.........:ylsuper:
  12. When the runner was hit with the ball, he spun in a counter clockwise direction very quickly, lost his balance and stumbled in to foul territory. Granted, he should not have been close enough to the foul line for it to be even close. The runner that was called out did create a scene with the umpire and coach. I believe this player has been dismissed from the team.......
  13. The bases were loaded in the bottom of the 7th inning, with 2 outs. The batter hit a line shot that hit the runner at 3rd base. It APPEARED that the runner was in still in foul territory when struck by the ball (after being struck he fell in to fair territory). The HP umpire called the runner out. A controversial ending to say the least.
  14. Today is the home opener vs Lee County, VA........:thumb:
  15. Dude, what's your deal? You continue to bash HC for some reason. You have made it perfectly clear that you don't think HC will be very competitive. The fans in Harlan County are excited about the upcoming season as most fans are for their respective schools.
  16. Good Job Lady Bears!!! Good Luck tomorrow!!
  17. That was Harlan Independent. This will be Harlan County's first season. The roster is full of girls that played for a good Cumberland squad (that had 1 senior) last season that finished 5th in the region in wins. I look for the Lady Bears to be pretty competitive this season.
  18. Good breakdown Hank.......
  19. Harlan County has defeated Mboro, South and Jackson this season. They haven't played North. HC has to be mentioned in the top 3 or 4....IMO
  20. The last I heard, he didn't even have an offer from UK and UK wasn't on his list any longer. I remember reading an article where he had said "that if UK offered, I would commit". It would be horrible to have to watch this young man from the mountains be kicking on Saturdays for our enemy to the south!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I went out to the field to drop off "Grill-zilla" around noon and a giant bear head was being painted on the field..........the field looks awesome !!!!
  22. Julius (the former cowboy) now plays for the Seattle Seahawks...... I believe their camp, which is in Big Stone, is held in the spring.......
  23. He dropped 120 yds on Powell Valley..........that kid is a player........
  24. Grillzilla is locked and loaded and ready for the trip..........:thumb:
  25. Harlan County vs Letcher County Central........can't wait:ylsuper:
