Treg Setty and Phil Barner will be the X factors for the Royals next season. You know Middleton and Downing will be very solid, as well as Neal Pawsat and Ryan Hamm. But if Setty of Barner either one live up to what they are capable of, watch out for Mason Co. Not only for the 10th Region, but possibly the state as well.

Depending on how their young players come along, Mason County could be pretty good. They do lose 4 very good players though.

Most of you folks obviously were not there and do not know the facts. Also, any suggestion that Mason's title is "tainted" is just plain silly. Some of you need to remember we are dealing with kids here. One more thing--because of some that has a bias against Mason County--there has been basically no discussion about the unbelievably bad intenional foul that caused this issue in the first place!

If what the Setty's said themselves was true then yes.

Setty was called for a technical--for saying something--not for going on the floor.

Tilghman was just over matched in this game. Even if they had taken better care of the ball, they would've gotten beat pretty badly because Mason Co. was on a mission tonight. This was very good to get their starters some rest and let some of the young kids get a feel of Rupp.

WOW! You can see sound? How do you pull that one off? I'm impressed. 6th Sense? There are obviously emotions that are running extremely high for a game with that much on the line. Those kids and their teammates are the only people that know what happened.

So by that logic, Mason should beat Montgomery by 45 points! :flame: We all know that won´t happen. Montgomery Co. is a good team and is playing at home so they will be in it til the end. I think having Keith Downing back (he did not play in the last Mont. Co. game) will be the difference for Mason Co. His defense and leadership will help Mason even more. I say... 67-60 Mason Co.

Mason Co. also beat Bryan Station and Lex Cath as well.

If Mason beats Montgomery, there is no way that Lex Cath would be the clear-cut favorite. Mason County beat them once and had them beat another time. Lex Cath is very good but they would not be the ¨clear-cut¨ favorite. Like Lion Mania said, they would be co-favorites if Mason goes.

Agreed. It is great to see the bright future for the Royals. These kids really took advantage of their minutes tonight.
