boys game 7:30PM girls game 5:30PM There are skills competitions on Friday night.

The game is April 11 in the evening. I will get back on the time. I am aware of a couple of the players, but I am not sure the roster is finalized yet.

Taylor Botkin had a better tournament for Catholic than Vee Sanford.

Holmes established itself clearly as no. 1. After the sweet 16 does not represent the next 16 best teams and to argue that point is ridiculous. It represents the 16 region winners.

This was the experience at the Stop DWI tournament in Binghampton during the holidays. There was a shot clock, only saw it go off once during the tournament. The clock does reduce late game fouling and free throws outside of 2 mins. But we know how exciting it is to watch free throws.

Congrats to Catholic. Survive and advance. I thought Botkin was key to keeping Catholic close in the first half when Sanford was struggling. Bowling Green played well and better execution in the last three minutes of regulation and they advance.

IMO as as it sits right now then the regular season at least wins/losses are meaningless. Many districts regions don't seed etc. IMO it is not perfect.

Try District 42 on for size. My question would be do you think the NCAA tournament was better as a 16-team field back in the seventies and before? I think at 64-team NCAA tournament is way better. I think the same would happen with the Sweet ??....it would be WAY BETTER, generate more interest, more people.

Obviously it won't affect this year's tournament. Also as far as it being only "Lexington or Louisville teams", if they are the top 8, then that is who should be selected IMO I can pick seven: J-Town, Scott County, Boone, Ballard, Franklin County and GRC. I am not saying it would be perfect, but I believe it would be BETTER.

There are too many quality teams and players sitting at home with little chance of playing in this event as it is. I say we need to open our minds and find a way to make this tournament even better.

I would think that and depth perception.

I propose that Kentucky add the top 8 non-region winners to the tournament. They can be selected by coaches, a committe, or a ranking, etc (not the press!). This could add a day or morning to the event, but would generate revenue, even more interest and be more FAIR. It is time for a change!

Bad luck has befallen the best player in Lex. Cath's recent two opponents. Prince Stewart, Henry Clay's best player broke his ankle playing Lexington Catholic, and Richie Phares, Scott County tore his ACL during the Lafayette game prior to the Lex. Cath. game.

Lex. Cath. starts their middle school programs running that press and their transition offense. Other than that, I think a big impact on LC's year has been moving big Mendy sitting beside Salsman. As far as the foul. Great job by Martin stepping up and draining the foul shots. They shouldn't have had the ball, but Scott County took an ill-advised shot at the other end. Most of the rest of our teams would LOVE to get the obvious foul called at that juncture of a game, but how often does that really happen?

Question is: who is the best player for Bowling Green...I would get an insurance policy!
