Then I have no clue why they aren't going on with the game. It's a little rain, unless the Wicked Witch of the West is going to be participating in the senior night festivites go on with it as planned.

Ashland is afraid of tearing up the grass at their precious Putnam Stadium... this is a joke to cancel the game. Everyone else if having their senior night festivites tonight.

You know surfing the net while at work really drops employees production. Anyway back to the thread, I think sports turf is the only way to go.

Who do you think has the coolest/nicest looking uniforms around the state? Me personally I have always liked Highlands.

I think GRC uses the cardinal logo from the NFL's Ariz. cards.

I don't think I have said anything on here that doesn't show that I have the utmost respect for Ashland... just showing a little support don't think I have done anything to embarass anyone.

I think almost every town besides town's in NKY are basketball towns... this is Kentucky. That doesn't mean that they don't support their football teams.

How can Breck Co. get to the regional final in 2000 and still not have any support behind it?

Why would you say this about the JC fans. I don't think any on here have made a fool of themselves or the JC fans. We are just using BGP the way it is supposed to be used, discussing who we think will win the game and why... No JC fan has done anything wrong on here besides supporting the Eagles.

I don't think the program should be dropped if they would go out there and play, I don't care if they get beat 100-0, if they go out there with only 11 players on the team and play hard then they should keep the program. But if they are going to start forfeiting games espically district games then they shouldn't have a football team.

If they are having to forfeit games due to the lack of competiveness it sounds like to me they need to drop the program, IMO.

Didn't realize Breck football program was in this bad of shape... if I offended anyone with the "cowardly" comment I am sorry. Sounds like they need to drop the football program all together.

I agree with you JC Alumni :thumb:... In watching the JC games this year I have been really impressed with the way Welch runs the ball. If you stick him at the QB position a couple of times a game and run the option that becomes a tough play to stop. But for the most part I think that Ashland will have their hands full with Grimm and JC will be pretty succesful on the ground.

I agree 100%. If there isn't a serious reason this game was forfeited by Breck such as a death within the team or school or a widespread team sickness then this is just cowardly of Breck. I know BG is one of the best in 3A or any class but to not go out and play because you don't think your team has a chance is terrible and sends a bad message to every kid in that school.

Yea but we wouldn't want Ashland to have the upper hand again if the field gets wet... we all know how they are bad to use those mud cleats! :lol:

I haven't heard to much about it but hopefully it will be first class. :thumb:

I hope that the field stays dry... JC needs a dry field so they can get that killer ground attack rollin!
