Hey Eagle I will be there Friday night. Especially since it is only about 20 min from the house. I think this game will go to the wire also. I think Raceland needs to have better pass coverage or they may be in for a long night with these receivers from LCA. I think LCA needs to remember that the special teams of Raceland has to be one of the top in 1A in the state, and Beach is a burner. I am not making a prediction this week, I am pulling as hard or harder than anyone for Raceland. I have a very good friend thats a coach for Raceland I want to see him go a little farther in the playoffs.

Ashland goes down by 21 pts. The seasons comes to a hault and thats that.

Sounds to me like the refs have caught on to the chop blocks that Paris is doing. It is about a game to late after we lost Denton and Boyles. They need to give the Paris coaches a warning I have heard of at least 3 they have been called for in the 3rd period.

Rich Brooks has done nothing for Kentucky football or the state of Kentucky in getting our top players to stay here and play. As far as being a proven loser, look at his stats he has had very few winning seasons anywhere he has been. I know nothing about the hit I asked the Denton's if they thought it was a intentional cheapshot. They being the wonder christian people they are said that it was a football injury. I have heard that it was the same kid that hit Tyler also, if it is it( game film) needs to be sent to khsaa and looked at completely.

Hey everyone just heard from the Denton family. Brett has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Tyler only has a bruise so thats good . The Denton's maybe coming to Lex to meet with a surgeon to see what the best game plan would be. I hate to see that because Brett is such a fine young man and very good leader on the team.

No where in this tread was what the bible says have anything to do with it. But if you want to go there it does say in the Bible not to be a stumbling block to others. IMO a coach cursing a kid is a big stumbling block to not only that kid but all the kids around him. I am sorry you want your kid cussed at by some low life coach that is no better than the ground you walk on. Once again a coach is an authority figure and role model for these kids. As a person put in that position he/she has NO right to be cursing any kid including his/her own at a school related function.

I have to agree I personally think there is not a better center in the state than Kyle Pettit. I don't care what school they are from Highlands, Cov Cath, T, X. There is not a better center in the state than this kid. Not only a talented player, but he is a very intelligent kid. Where ever he goes there is a very good chance he will be an acedemic all american. Kyle is 6'3" 280lbs and strong as an ox.

You are right 90% of a childs character is built at home. All it takes is that 10% of being around an individual with negative behaviors to take a lifetime of work and throw it down the drain. These kids deserve a TRUE role model and person to teach them the game but more importantly teach to make right decisions. A coach that curses if front of a child of any age doesn't deserve to be a coach. They have no respaect for the kids or for what the parents have attempted to install in their children from day one.

My honest opinion is that if a coach has to curse at a kid to get their attention then they are not much of a coach anyways. The coach is a symbol of authority and should always be viewed as that. If I was a board member of a school and caught wind of a coach cursing at the kids I would give him a directive. I think more schools need to crack down on their coaches and not allow the cursing or humiliation of kids. A coach is a trusted individual and is looked at as a role model in many instances, therefore should always be willing to refrain from any and all negative and obscene language to anyone.

Wonder how embarassed GIAT is over this game. Win or lose it doesn't appear he is ever happy how Ashland plays? Just asking because everytime I see a post by him he is embarassed by their play.

We all have to remember the construed views that people have of Northern Ky sports. Coaches from the Eastern and the southern part of the state don't matter. I work in Northern Ky and I hear it all the time. The sun rises and sets in Northern Ky just incase anyone else in the state was wondering. No one is as good and will never be as good as Northern Ky teams. We all from the rest of the state just need to concede that fact and not even argue with them they know it all. Forget about Ivan McGlone, Randy Vanderhoof, Bill Tom Ross, Marsh from Ashland Billy Goldsmith They all are not very good. You need to look at all aspects of coaching ( concern for kids, love of game, personal humbleness). It is just not their win and losses there is a lot more to it.

Tyler was at physical therapy at the same time as Brett.From what I understand they are pretty sure Tyler only has a strain. I may have heard wrong. I don't think he will be available for for Friday's game either.

I just spoke with the Denton's this morning. Brett is on crutches for a couple days and has a MRI tomorrow. They are hoping just a sprain, but not sure of severity. Mom said he will not be available for this weeks Paris game not sure if they face LCA if he will play then either.

Way to go Rams!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent game. I think we can probably expect the same outcome next Friday too. But always gotta keep the head on straight one game at a time. If they end up coming to Lexington to play LCA I will be there and ready to cheer. Defense is the key to championships, and it looks like the Rams D is nothing less than AWESOME.
