Yes,in the 1st gme of the season, but with that way of thinking, West beat East, and that was midseason, can't always look at 1 game. Look at UK and LSU.

I don't see this being a close one at all. GC still has some work to do,as do all the teams in our district, but MC is looking pretty good, still room for improvment, but looking good. MC-34 GC-7

Well, I hope that's how it is. If my Lions do win their district, I'd really rather they face Franklin County rather than Bell. We aren't really up to par with either of them this year,but not to step on toes, but Bell County just seems more dominate this year. But niether of them are sloutches, they both look to be ready for the post season and all the competition put before them.

This rematch is a possibility, but although raceland edged the Eagles in the season, you may want to check the schedules. In every game against mutual teams, Fairview has completely out played Raceland. I know that doesn't mean diddly when they play just something to think about. But whoever does win, likely goes to Lexington for what I think will be a very long night, LCA should dominate this distict in playoffs, too much talent and too good of a coaching staff.

I'll take BC. I believe Fairview is more cocerned about going to Raceland than bragging rights in the county. Only motivation I see for the Eagles would be the 1st win against Boyd County. I still don't see this getting very high numbers. BC-24 FHS-17

I have not seen JC this year. Just got to read about them. I have seen Belfry. No doubt they win the 3A title -- save some sort of fluke or melt-down. From what I've seen and read, JC seems to have the more potent offense; but I think the Pirate D swings the W to Belfry. Belfry-28 JC-21

I think Belfry is the best in 3A, but Breathitt has more ways to score. If the dawgs want to stay in this they'll have to step up on D. BC-42 LC-14 I hope the Dawgs make me eat this prediction though.

I'd love to see the Lions win out, but if they play like they did friday, then it'll be ugly. Boyd County may have won, but this was the first time I found myself saying that they actually looked like a 1 and six team. I hate to say it, but Grant by 7 in the 4th.

It's a little better. I think it should look a little more like this... 1-J.C. 2-Russell 3-Raceland 4-Fairview 5-Paintsville 6-West Carter 7-East Carter or maybe paintsville at 7...but the order of the last 3 could go anyway they fall.

Fairview does have a very tough defense. One of the better D's infact.

BC is much improved from the last meeting,but still no real threat for JC.I would love for the young lions to overcome the odds and give JC a lesson in over confidence,but the eagles are just out of the lions league this year.I'll say JC-35 and BC-14.

I don't know anything about Boyd county this year,but Russell should have little trouble with the lions.They rarely have to give them a second thought,Boyd never could do much with Russell.I guess I should go though,the last 2 times I went to watch Russell play was the last 2 times they lost.At least they'd have something going for them.
