I still think West Carter deserves to be on this list. 3 wins and a Triple overtime loss to Fleming while Ashland gets blown out again? Seems like the Comets can't get a break with the ADI.

The Comets play Fairview and Raceland. Will get to see how good they are against them.

I still say the Super Seven is a joke.

Fairview, Paintsville, West and East Carter over Boyd County???? Come on. The only one you can even argue about is East because they squeaked by Boyd this year. Fairview will get all they want of Boyd the last game of the Season.

West Carter definetly deserves to be in the Top 7 before Ashland, no doubt. But I am not sure they are better than any of the other teams listed.

Paintsville would lose to Ashland, West Carter and every team listed in the Super 7. The Tigers have been outscored 151-45 in their last four games and will not win another regular season game. The Tigers are down this season and its wins have come against four of the weakest 1A teams in the state (combined record 9-23).

 

I will take two helpings of crow if the Tigers manage to upset Pike County Central or Sheldon Clark.

I agree...but I think 90% of this is going on the tradition (or lack thereof) of some of these schools. I do think strength of schedule is important, but if you're not beating any of the top teams on your schedule, & you have a losing record, then how do you even make the list? I don't care if you only had seven teams (LOL), you shouldn't be on there!
