Graybeard, post like the one about total domination is young people having no clue about what is really going on. Now, I feel Raceland has a very good chance to have a good season. But DOMINATE all opponents.... I do not see that happening. They play Ashland which has come down to the last possession the last two years. Then you have an East Carter team that beat them last year; then you have local rivals Russell, Greenup, and Fairview; and then there is LCA. Again the Rams have a chance for a good season, but so do all of their opponents.

I guess NKU. your team and high school has a lot more students and players than the rest of us.

Most JV players fill a role on the scout team; to help prepare the varsity kids. So I guess the JV players in basketball that do not play varsity should (that play baseball) go to baseball after the JV season is over and not be part of the district tournament......

What are everyone's thoughts from the Ashland area???

Tough schedule for GC. Looks like 4-6 or 3-7 on the year, but the good thing is that they may still be district champs.

James-Russell Not sure about 5 unforced turnovers?? Russell got beat period. Just like GC has gotten beat since. I guess GC should say the turnovers have cost them the game the past few years.

Wheelersburg will be a tough game for GC. For that matter they would be a tough game for anyone on the Ky side.

If they can get their numbers up, they should be much improved.

I may eat my words, but I do not see them competing with Russell, Raceland, Ashland, and Mason. But they will compete in their district and may even repeat as champions. Good luck GC.

A lot of work to be done in Ramland. The Rams have a chance for a great year, but they will only be able to achieve this through hardwork.

How many players went through spring practice? Replacing the Justice and Stephenson kid in the backfield will be a big challenge. The OL was also hit hard by graduation.
