I think you need a passing attack to win in the upper classes & a strong running attack to win in class 1A thru 3A

Ousley numbers 19 of 34 with 3 Tds & 2 Ints 266 yds not to shabby for a 14 yo Frosh. I think all you need is get him more reps & experience and he will be a big time qb one of these days.

1st of all hats off to Reidland, much improved team with a huge following that didn't quit like years past. Lone Oak should improve as the season goes on with qb getting more experience which will help him with decision making. Lone Oaks ground attack looked pretty solid with soph Wright carrying the load. Lone Oaks defense still allows the big play which can hurt against a good opponent. Overall, I think the purple flash should finish regular season 8-2 or possibly 9-1. Going deep into postseason ? I think Lone Oaks a year away from seriously contending for the state 4A title.

Thanks for the compliment! I also have to give kudos to our o-line at Lone Oak. Those guys have just been phenomonal all year. The o-line rarely gets much attention (except when they goof up), but those guys have been solid all year and a huge factor getting our team to the state finals.

Just want to know what everyone thinks. I personally think they should have as they were a slight underdog plus OT favors a running team as opposed to a passing oriented team. I either win it or lose by one but im a gambler.

It's very difficult to find a parking place anywhere at WKU during a week day when school is in session, even if there's no events going on. "Egypt" or Creason would be your best bet, although it's for games after 3pm. I think I'll park and take the shuttle (lot is off Cambell Lane next to the intramural fields). Shuttle runs about every 8 minutes. I don't think WKU has a clue as to the number of Lone Oak faithful that plan to make the trip to BG. I'm sure Boyle Co. will have several fans coming as well. Really can't understand why KHSAA would schedule a 4A (big schools) game at 11:00am on a WKU school day?

Oh, yeah, I forgot that for a quick breakfast or snack, Riley's Bakery on 31W is the bomb!! Everything from donuts, pastries, cakes, pies, cup cakes and on and on...

Its a shame Mary's isn't still open, I use to eat their 4 or 5 times a week back in the late 70s. It was good ole home cooking. Does anyone know whatever happen to Mary or when it closed? Double Dogs is one of my favorite places now for burgers. I also like the sushi at the Japanese place on 31W.
