Lone Oak at Paducah Tilghman 1st game of the year. Its the 1st time they met since 2002. Paducah Tilghman has won all 25 previous meetings. It should be a good opener.

They have a lot of experience on this team with the exception of the qb

Lone Oak not clicking on all cyclinders in this one but a wins a win. They must play better next week against FS.

Good win Ft Knox & I'm glad it was against Glasgow who killed us in the 1st round of the playoffs in 2004. Coach Haskins was really mad when Glasgow run a fake punt up by 40 plus pts.

Agree 100% with westsider. With the exception of the last drive as time was winding down (?), Green County was pretty much stagnant on offense. The qb did have a couple of nice runs but had trouble with the pass. I thought Green County play an expectional gameon the defensive side of the ball. I can't believe Lone Oak was held scoreless in the 2nd half. Loss really dosen't hurt that much at this point in the season in what was really a meaningless game for the Flash.

Lone Oak lost 12 to 14 seniors that played a lot last year, so they are not in any way the same team. I agree Lone Oak has played a very soft schedule without playing PT, Mayfield or Murray the tank is empty at this end of the state. Your qb has to be the leader of the team andit hurts that our qb is only a 14 year old freshman. He eventually will be an outstanding qb/leader. I think our play calling is less than desirabe at times.

Lone Oak this year is not the same caliber team as last years squad. Lone Oak has talent on both side of the ball but has struggle at times to find a rhythm. Offensively, they dont utilize the run & try to throw way to many deep balls & screen passes in the middle of the field. Defensively, strong upfront against the run but will struggle against a good passing team and give up to many big plays. Its unlikely the Flash will make it to Bowling Green this year but you never know.

Lone Oak gets the screws put to them at end of the game. The clock gets stops to allow Green Co to score in the final 3 seconds. Nonetheless Lone Oak was out of sync. The KHSAA will definetly look close at the film.
