Sloppy offensively for LO. The passing game is not clicking at all. LO ran the ball probably 60% of the time maybe more. LO had 2 interceptions and 2 fummbles from the QB spot. Dont really know what his stats were but not very good. All the yards he did get were from YAC on little screens and such. LO defense played really well. Reidland is much improved but still very much over their heads in this one. They scored on the opening play 97 yards on what looked like an off tackle play to the strong side. The next score was on a pick 6. then the final score came when LO put in the backup D with about 6 min to go in game. LO starters stayed in the entire game until about 6 min. left. Very unsettling is the offensive play last night.

1st of all hats off to Reidland, much improved team with a huge following that didn't quit like years past. Lone Oak should improve as the season goes on with qb getting more experience which will help him with decision making. Lone Oaks ground attack looked pretty solid with soph Wright carrying the load. Lone Oaks defense still allows the big play which can hurt against a good opponent. Overall, I think the purple flash should finish regular season 8-2 or possibly 9-1. Going deep into postseason ? I think Lone Oaks a year away from seriously contending for the state 4A title.

Ousley numbers 19 of 34 with 3 Tds & 2 Ints 266 yds not to shabby for a 14 yo Frosh. I think all you need is get him more reps & experience and he will be a big time qb one of these days.
