So whats the word from the Rebel Camp today? Everyone has to be excited!!

So will this be the game SW gets over the hump and makes it past the second round. I believe so. I'll take the warriors in this one by two touchdowns!!

In the first matchup The Hampton kid only had 117 yards rushing, but 95 of those yards came from a long run before halftime. He was not that big of a factor in that particular game. However Southwesterns leading reciever Matt Robertson did not play in that game either.

Well finally the rematch we all have been waiting for. The Rebels come off a big win against Marion, and the warriors off a pretty sharp game against Pulaski. Will the Warriors homefield advantage be a difference maker? predictions?

Now, HTTC you know if someone was bashing the beloved Purple and Gold you would get a bit defensive. But that was a bit off thread. But anyway I'm going with the warriors on this one.. 46-6

Well I am sure Coach Anderson will have the boys over at the reservation very prepared for PC, even despite the injuries. As for the SW Boyle rematch everyone is speaking of. TAKE IT ONE GAME AT A TIME. And hopefully there will be a thread on that game come Monday morning.

Just wondering Joe, What does the past team/players have anything to do with this team, this season. You keep insisting to bring up past teams that players on this years team were not even a part of. Just wondering too, do you find amusement in belittleing high school students (that you have probably never met) and that work hard day in and day out to give to the game you claim to love.

yes, Marion is a majority senior team. I think 8 out of 11 players on Offense and Defense are seniors

SW had I believe 4 or 5 other opportunities to score in the redzone through the game but missed a FG and turned over the others mostly on 4th down, one turnover was on an interception at the end of the half...

Southwestern's lady warriors should very well be contenders this year for the region. They are led by 2 great senior in Chasidy Zimmerman and Jasi Flynn and loads of talent that have been starting since they were 8th graders. Now they are getting older and playing very well together. So expect great things from this team and teams to follow from the lady warriors.

63-12 Somerset.... Somerset will dominate this year in the powerhouse district that they are part of, its hard to match up against teams like cumberland, harlan, williamsburg, etc., a real head turning schedule for the Jumpers.

Danville had only 58 yards rushing against the warrior Defense, last saturday night...so give credit where its due.

Yeah, real terrible considering they only gave up hmm.. -11 rushing yards!

By the way warrior fans!! Kinda off subject but.. Thursday night at 6:30 there will be a pep rally for the boys at the reservation to celebrate the up coming game!!

Do you think that it will make a difference in how they play that both teams are coming off of losses? One a huge loss, the other not so bad?

This is a huge game for both teams. These two teams have not played in something like 4 years. How will both teams react after coming off losses in week one?

From what I hear over at the reservation.. They return many starters too. In fact they return all specialty positions but do have to replace most lineman. The game will be won in the trenches and if the Southwestern defense can keep the speedy admiral offense between the tackles for most of the night.

OK.. what this all boils down to was that Coach Cobb had over a year to voice his opinion KFCA, and he did'nt! So IMO he would be stabbing the KFCA in the back by coming out with this quote.
