How does everyone think that Pulaski southwestern will do in the playoffs?

I think they'll take care of Pulaski easily in the first round then Boyle Co. will gain revenge for the regular season loss. If they do get past the Rebels I think whichever Louisville school comes out of the other bracket will win the region this year--whether against SW or Boyle.

I think that Boyle co will take them out.

"Southwestern" should make it to the 3rd round of the playoffs, but could be greatly affected by injuries. We'll wait and see how things end up with a couple of key personel banged up during the Pulaski Game.

If Southwestern is healthy I think they will beat Boyle again and believe they will be playing for a region championship! I have felt all season that this is the year they make a breakthrough and go a ways in the playoffs. It all depends upon them being at 100% personnel wise though.

The 2 players lost are key..will have to take one game at a time beginning with PC....don't worry about Boyle or anyone else..just PC right now...PC will play you tough again..

Semantics question...Is the school now known simply as "Southwestern" instead of "Pulaski Southwestern?" I never actually heard, except last year the KHSAA started using the reduced "Southwestern" name.

 

By the way, I think Boyle County will knock off the Warriors in a tight one next Friday.

Yes, they have dropped "Pulaski" and wish to be known only as "Southwestern." Not sure if it's a disassociation or simply a convenience. Someone from the southwestern part of Pulaski County will have to answer that one.

If it's the sign I'm thinking of, I believe it read "Southwestern Pulaski," which was never what they were called on the KHSAA rolls. Not sure if they're redone that or not.

Realistically, general, does it matter? The marquee out front should read "First Round Football Loss" or "District Basketball Choke!"
