Chris was the best athlete to ever come to Holmes in my mind before he got hurt but I think I would have to put Anthony Hughes in my starting 5 even though Hughes was a true point guard. And if you bring up Chris you could even bring up Feodi Beal (spelling?) Dicky's nephew. I heard he was better then Dicky but we never got to see.

I hear you on the championship thought but there were teams that made it to the finals of the sweet sixteen that probably was a little more talented. They just happened to be in a tournament with better teams. The 1990 Holmes team really stands out.

The 1990 Holmes team was a great team. Absolutley loaded but the shame of it was that they came back in 91 with pretty much everyone back and didnt make it out of the region.

And I believe in your situation it's actually what you want to believe and bias that gets in the way of the facts. All im saying is quit treating these two like cancer patients. Who would you guys say is the best team in the history of NKy basketball? There's been some good ones. SK's state championship team, Holmes' 1990 team and Holy Cross' team with Clark and Harney. Any other suggestions?

Please STOP! Every other post of yours is this. Do you actually cry when you type these posts? I guess Bill didnt know what grade he was in when he enrolled. huh? I guess since he was only 15 or 17, or however old he was at the time. He shouldnt be expected to know this is wrong. And you can defend OJ all you want but when all of these things take place, you cant blame people for the negative views they have towards him. The community of NCH did embrace him and just like anybody else would do who couldnt care less, he left without looking back.

I will say this about Cov Cath fans. No matter how crazy and loud they get, I've never heard them say anything degrading or mean to any opposing player or coach. They get my respect for that. Alot of times at highschool games when the school kids get it in their heads that they want to be noticed. They can get a little too out of control with their actions and their words.

I think we all know the main reason why Cov Cath got that honor.(the fans) When it comes to the actual gym itself, Cov Cath doesnt come close to what Mason County has to offer. Mason County has that old fashioned gym that still looks and feels much better than any new gym that I have ever been in. True testament to whoever designed and built The Fieldhouse.

Sorry ScooterBob but you sound a little bit too excited about this. All along I thought you were just interested in what is good for these two kids ( OJ and Bill ) but now it seems like you're being a little selfish. This " kid " ( really a man ) and his whole entourage is a complete joke. And it is getting really old. I'm glad he is back in WV so you guys have something to live for now. You speak so much about how Oj and Bill have been abused and taken advantage of by the schools. I think the two of them are getting their fair share of advantages as well. Quit feeling sorry for OJ and Bill they ask for alot of things they get and quit caring so much about kids that couldnt care less about you, their teammates, their school, their coaches or anybody for that matter that doesnt have something to do with money.

I dont think Highlands will have a gym near the size of Ryle just because of the size of the school. As for Holy Cross and Cov Cath I agree that the atmosphere at those gyms are great but its kind of a bummer when you have to show up one hour before the JV game to get a seat.

Just wanted to get some of your guys ideas on who has the best gym in Northern Kentucky? Size, feel, history and atmosphere can all play a part. My top 3 would be Holmes 1, Cov Cath 2 and Ryle 3. Mason Co. isnt really a nky team but I have to give a shot out to The Fieldhouse it's the best gym in the state in my opinion.

I can't see Scott really doing too much this year. Without Howard they seem to be a little too small and too overmatched in alot of games this year.

I believe that Kurt Bovard from Cov Cath is a better pure shooter than Todd. I would even venture to guess that Kurt might be an all around better player than Todd if he was to focus only on basketball.

Corey is without much of a doubt a top 5 player in the 10th. He's a great all around basketball player and I am willing to bet that no one in the region plays harder than this kid.

I think he might mean and I hope he means Arrez Henderson. If so that is a solid pick.

There is nothing wrong with being passionate fans for our each respective schools and the players we cheer. I do have alot of respect for Duran as basketball player and as a young man. I just want to make that clear. Just have to watch myself and not get carried away. It's all good though fballstud.

You know what your right. I hope the best for both Duran and Mike. We got a little carried away with this one and I said somethings I shouldnt have. I hope they both have great years and both their teams have great years. And wherever they wind up playing college ball at, im sure they both will be ok. Should really just be happy to get a college education from their skills.

Duran and Austin are best friends really? That statement alone leads me to believe that you dont know what you're talking about. You actually believe that Duran is going to Florida or UNC? He might get letters but letters dont mean nothing really. Was he getting college coaches looking at him all summer? Did Duran even play AAU ball this year? I can tell you right now that all of those players you mentioned have all said at one time or another that they hated to play with Duran. That's especially including his so called " best friend ". And as for Duran being the number 1 recruited guard in nky, you might want to tell Austin that.
