There are some things in Boys basketball that are exciting, you may have a break away dunk, a three pointer from 40 feet, but what does that give you, 2 points for the dunk, yea it looks good...a 40 foot jumper, no its not 4 points it's still three, today in boys basketball everyone wants to make themselves look good and totally forgets about the rest of the team, "i want my points". In girls basketball this isn't usually the case, the girls are more about winning, and always look for the extra pass...i know this sounds funny, but i wish boys basketball would change in this regard... If you have a daughter or son that is involved with a sport sure you're going to lean toward their game, both are equally important. The only reason that more people would attend boys regional tournaments is the ego kicking in, it seems more important and more entertaining, but it's like CSI Miami said its the where your coming from...

The obvious advantage does go to Perry & Powell, but they both should watch for Leslie, Leslie has a great pitching staff and a very good offense, i'm going to lean toward Powell though with the home field advantage, and crowd support, Powell should end up Champs...

Does anyone know when Perry Central's team Camp starts?

What about the Johnson boy? Will he not fit, has'nt he started two years straight?

Yea i watched Stepp play last year, seemed like all he did was dribble at half court till someone picked him up and he would blow by them and pull up for a three or a mid-range shot, heard he avg. 26 or 28 as a sophomore, that might be because he has stayed back and was supposed to be a Junior...great player though...don't think his mentality of shooting the ball everytime would help him much in college ball, maybe in the NBA! Was Howard a super-6th man or something, how could he affect JBS and their preseason rank?

See i was told he was going to play for UVA, like the University of Virginia, did'nt know it was UVA-Wise, but congrats to Chris, hope he is successful in both sports, heard he was going to play baseball as well...
