Who is going to be the new coach?

I dont think interviews have taken place yet.

IMO the best person for the job is Joey Thacker. He has done an excellent job at Franklin co. and at Frankfort high. Woodford would be crazy not to hire him.

I agree with you coach.

Who is Thacker. I thought Chauk was at Franklin Co. Has Thacker won district or what, good records?

Thacker is the girls coach at Franklin County.

What's his record? Does he have district championships, a lot of regional tournament appearances? Ever been a boys coach? Is woodford about to hire him?

rumor has it Frankfort's Brad Mefford is the next coach at woodford co

The Mefford announcement should be sometime this week.

Mefford will be the next head coach at Woodford County. It is a better opportunity for him. Only one high school in the county, Woodford schools perform well academically, and support for athletics is strong.

As for Frankfort, the turnover will not help the program, as Mefford was doing a great job.

Congratulations to Coach Mefford and to Woodford County for getting a class act on board as their head coach! Should be fun to watch that program.

What happened to the coach from last year?, did'nt Woodford Co. have a good year?
