Chris Stamper just signed with UVA Wise. Congratulations Chris.

Will he try to play baseball as well. He is a very good player on the diamond as well.

Congrats to Chris. Could be a two sport athlete. Good luck.

Congrats to Stamper glad to see him get to play at the next level.

How does Wolfe County have two players go on to play college ball and have the terrible season that they had this year?

Congrats from the nWo household. Wise lost their leading scorer to graduation and they are a young team. Chris should see a fair amount of playing time.

Chris intends to play baseball at UV-Wise. He said his basketball coach has given him the ok to do two sports, and the baseball coach is going to look at him during the district and regional tournaments. I hope Chris does try to play baseball; he is an outstanding player and is having a monster of a senior season at Wolfe County.

Wise, Virginia

Southwestern part of the state near Kentucky.

See i was told he was going to play for UVA, like the University of Virginia, did'nt know it was UVA-Wise, but congrats to Chris, hope he is successful in both sports, heard he was going to play baseball as well...

Congrats, Chris and good luck.
