He is a solid HS player, I didn't say that, but if he happens to play anywhere but Alice Lloyd in College I guess I'll be eating crow. He's not going to impress any resectable college coaches who's been around talented players and want to win, I just don't see it. I've never seen a player hyped like this with his ability. College players would eat him alive right now.I could be wrong though, but thats my opinion.

No way, he's not even the best player on his team. Tate Cox is the best player. I'm not even sure an NAIA program would offer Stepp anythig after they evaluated him except Alice Lloyd, only because his family pretty much runs that college as well as JBS. Cox is the real deal though.

Yeah it was in the HL this morning Landon Slone led Paintsville with 36pts. Victor Moses had 26pts and 9 rebounds to lead #18 Henry Clay to a hard fought win. Aaron Boyd had 12 for Henry Clay and Van Fergason had 12 for Paintsville.

How did Hall do for Bracken County, he's supposed to be pretty tough.

I didn't say they didn't have talent, Tate Cox is the real deal. I said they didn't have the the athletes and talent(compared to MC) to keep up with Mason County. Middleton, Miller & Company are as talented as they get.

What about Reggie Smith of Fairdale he's a nice athlete that could be a steal for a mid-major..a talented youngster..He could be a sleeper DI player.

I'd say Mason over JBS by 25+ and mason over PCC by about 10 or 12. JBS don't have the athletes and talent to compete with Mason County.

I would consider the 14th the weakest region in the state by far. then after that I'm not sure.

North Hardin still has Aundre Autrey a top 6 player in the 5th region, who will suprise some people this season, he is a very talented basketball and could be known statewide if he has the type of season he is capible of. I do however agree about James & Jamarrious Sykes. That really hurts North Hardin alot losing those two.

Who did you see them play in the Preseason, and what did their inside game look like?? I agree that it'll be JH or E'town. The key to beating E'Town would have to be keeping Pettigrew off the offensive glass and to not give them 2nd and 3rd chance oppertunities, if a team can hold him under 20pts then they have done their job, Easier said than done though. I think Adair could be the 3rd team in this discussion. Ballou is very talented and is improving, he will be a tough matchup for alot of 4th region teams and should be even more effective on D.

after losing Maze Stallworth and Brandon Bland? I just saw where Brandon Johnson was rated as John Hardin's top player and one of the top players in the 5th Region. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about him and what kind of player he is. Also can he help lead John Hardin back to Rupp after the graduation of last year star Maze Stallworth.

Thats great, you really were a part of history, every season I hear someone bring up this shot. I wasn't lucky enough to witness it unfortionatly, just heard and read about the stories. But it had to be a special moment.

I recently read an artical in the HL about the Half court Shot by Paul Andrews that lifted Laurel County to the state Championship 53-51. I was just wondering if anyone remembers the shot and if anyone witnessed it live. I thought it was interesting.
