centuriondawg
Male led by Dexter Heyman's 20 points and 14 boards and Douglas Beaumont's 13 points beat host J-Town 53-51. Great win for Coach Crews and the Dawgs.
OYPreps
Looks like Male turned it around after losing to DeSales. Heyman only had 2 points in that loss.

Yea Heyman stepped it up tonight. He definetly dominated the Coleman kid from J-Town in the post.

Getslow
Louisville is a strange animal. I don't know what to make of this score just yet. Three days after dropping their opener to DeSales, the Bulldogs beat the defending regional and state champions. Not 36 hours ago, I was talking to a friend of mine who said that J-Town's chances of winning the seventh again were nil. We'll have to see. It's still early and I think the seventh will be hard-fought and competetive... but it looks like the best ball in the state is going to come from a few teams in the 11th. $$East-Bank$$
Yea Heyman stepped it up tonight. He definetly dominated the Coleman kid from J-Town in the post. How big is the Heyman kid?? Coleman is one of the top players in the state, so this kid must be the real deal.
gymrat94
How big is the Heyman kid?? Coleman is one of the top players in the state, so this kid must be the real deal. 6'4" tops, very long arms with an impressive body. Can be fierce on the boards when he wants to, has some offensive skills but scores mostly on "bulling" his way to the basket and offensive putbacks. That works in this are for highschool ball but on the national this level struggles b/c it is tough to be a 6'4" power forward/center against strong 6'10" kids. Very tough competitor though. If I remember he only had 4 points, or so, against a smaller Desales team, then he puts up 20 & 14 against J'town, he is a yo-yo right now. PurpleandGold04
Heyman is the younger brother of UofL defensive Lineman Earl Heyman. He is just like his brother in that his future is in football, but is a very skilled basketball player when it comes to "getting down and dirty." A great rebounder who will surprise some people with his play this year. He is that good in football to, rumor has it UofL has already offered him a scholarship and he is a Junior. centuriondawg
How big is the Heyman kid?? Coleman is one of the top players in the state, so this kid must be the real deal. After Friday night I wouldn't say Coleman is a top player in the state. He blocked a few shots and had a couple of dunks but he was out worked by a smaller Dexter Heyman. Coleman seems to be weak down low. He doesn't use his body to over power people and in the 7th region this year he should dominate the paint because I think think of another player (maybe the Jacobs kid at Trinity) that can match his height. He should be a top player but needs to work on being stronger and more physical before he becomes a top talent.
