I would not underestimate Jenkins. I think Lynn Camp did that to Williamsburg last year.

The Lynn Camp/Williamsburg games on Friday nights are not so much football games as they are more battles. Last year at Lynn Camp I saw more monster hits on 1 play then I did in other entire games. These boys love to hate each other. Lynn Camp and Williamsburg is a rivalry IMHO, where as the McCreary is just an annual "W" for Williamsburg, although McCreary has made it very interesting the last two years.

I hate all these injuries for LC. I do believe they could make some noise if they get healthy. The young ones are getting some quality time though.

I was told by a friend at the game that Williamsburg played most of the 2nd half with a couple underclassman linemen because of injuries, so I think their line should be fine if the 4th quarter was any indication. He said Williamsburg pretty much ran it down the throat of the Raiders. From what I have seen of Watts he is the kind of gifted athlete who can take over a game, once he is gone I think the Raiders may be in a bit of trouble. With that said I hope McCreary has a good season and makes some noise in the playoffs in 4A.

Frankfort my have 28 kids but Williamsburg has about 30, and I would bet money that Frankfort is a heck of a lot faster than that Williamsburg team. Frankfort is expected to be good every year. That is what happens when you are successful.

I think someone said Williamsburg was in the red zone 3 or 4 times. From what I have been told Williamsburg pretty much went up and down on the field on them at will but would then make mistakes in the red zone. Of course that is from a friend at Williamsburg so he may be a bit biased.

Saw this from a different angle and it was a fumble for sure. The Jackets beat themselves in this one. Congrats to Frankfort.

Where in the world did this undefeated talk come from. Looking at Williamsburg schedule that would be a tough order. Frankfort, Bath Co., Campbellsville who they have not beat yet and Lynn Camp. If they go 2 and 2 out of those games it would be a good result for them.

I think the Grid did what it was suppose to do for all the teams, let them see what they can do and what they need to improve on. I wish all the mountain teams good luck this season and bring home some hardware to the South Eastern part of the state.
