I still wonder why OSU agreed to play USC. I actually gained a little respect for them scheduling a tougher team. They had a cake walk to a big bowl game every year. If USC thumps them by 3 tds or more, you can kiss that NC game goodbye. Why mess up a perfect situation ?

I always think the pick up game reports are funny. It's not a good way to evaluate talent. It may show you who has the nicest hops and thats about it. I always remember Woo tearing it up in these pick up games. I never read too much into them. It's good to know that everyone is healthy though. I'm excited to see if our long anticipated wait for Liggins was worth it. I hope he's as good as people seem to think he will be.

I love UK fans. I'm glad we all get a "scrimmage report".

No one will ever be the next King Rex in my eyes. He's on another level to me.

Why did OSU schedule USC anyway ? I respect playing tougher opponents, but they had a cake walk to a nice bowl game every year. What would a blow out loss to USC do to that #3 rating OSU has right now ?

I hope it's a good game, I just don't see it being that close. USC should eat Boeckman alive.

OSU better fix some things this week or USC will not only win next week, but make it laughable.

Not to pat myself on the back... Just about nailed that one. Boyd's offense will keep them in a lot of games this year. Wilson is one of the best athletes in the area. I think he accounted for around 230 yards on an always tough Russell defense. Dropped passes killed Boyd in the game. That and defense. Boyd just didn't have the speed on defense to stop Russell. They gave up way too many big plays to have a chance to get a win. Congrats to Russell on the win, as always, the Red Devils have an excellent team.

Nice win for the Tomcats. I'm very surprised at the final from this one. I thought Ashland would win, but not by this much. Pikeville must have lost a ton of talent from last season.

Should be a close game, but I think Ashland pulls this one off. Ashland - 21 Pikeville - 17

Why ? Why would anyone ever want a pet snake ? I can almost understand buying one of the smaller ones because they actually move. The big ones though ? Come on. Why would anyone ever want to own a pet that didn't move and every time you "played" with it, there's a decent chance that it would wrap itself around you, suffocate you, and then eat you. Any BGP members have a pet snake ? What got me started on this was a show I watched on the History channel last night. It was about Anacondas and Pythons and how they were starting to invade some of the suburbs around the everglades of Florida. It then went on to say that at the rate they are reproducing, there would be too many in Florida and they would start to head north, eventually reaching New York City. Quick though: If these snakes start heading North, I'd bet my last dollar their trip to New York would end at Kentucky. I've killed a ton of snakes with a pistol. If I ever see a Python in my back yard, I'll just get a bigger gun. Snakes are all the same to me, evil and scary :lol:. By the way, what happened with the History Channel ? Every time I watch it, I end up feeling like I need to talk to a therapist. It's not even about history anymore, and more so about the end of the world and the slow painful death all of us have to look forward too. No real point to this thread, just some random thoughts I had today. :lol:

No doubt about it. JCHS is and should be ranked #1 until someone in the area proves otherwise. For what it's worth, I think the super 7 looks pretty solid for the first week. Raceland or Russell at the 2 spot is a toss up. Both have excellent teams. Fairview moving up one spot and Ashland down one spot is certainly debatable as well.
