I watched this the other day and it made my blood pressure go up. I'm sorry, I have no idea why, but I absolutely detest people like this.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories but I also don't automatically assume something happened the way it did because I was told it did. Stuff like this is always worth looking into, and to be honest, I'm one of those types of people that really doesn't trust the government all that much. While we're on the topic of conspiracy theories, anyone read into or believe any of the theories on why gas is still our primary fuel for doing basically everything ? I've read some pretty interesting ones that are more believable than the 9-11 conspiracies.

How talented is this years Ironton team ? The last time I saw them play was when they beat the Tomcats at Putnam a few years ago in a really close game. To be honest, that was the worst Ironton team I had ever seen. They just weren't that good compared to the teams Ironton usually puts on the field.

Normally I'd take the over. However, Green Bay is playing so you know SC will spend a good 45 minutes making sure people know that Farve doesn't play there now.

This kind of makes the season less fun for me. I hate Brady and the Pats, but not having him there is like watching a scary movie without a bad guy.

Apparently it used to be a lot worse that it is now, I know, hard to imagine. A lot of the old timers have some really funny stories about their experiences across the river. What happened (I think it was just a few years ago) when the lights at Ironton mysteriously went out ? Anyone remember anything about this story or did I just make it up ?

Anyone who's played there knows how ridiculous it is. Those guys across the river have no soul. If Ironton is up 4 TD's they still give you the short end of the stick on every call.

:thumb: Very few teams in our area can make this claim. I'd love to see Ashland (or anyone for that matter) beat up on Ironton a little. I just don't see it happening. I've seen too many good teams travel across the river and get absolutely thumped by Ironton to believe otherwise. Should be a good game. The Cowboys run D looks solid so far. The secondary still looks suspect. Cleveland has a pretty nice passing game though.

What happened with the Ocho Cinco deal ? Him changing his last name makes me think of a little girl who would change "Cindy" to "Cindi" and use little hearts to dot her I's. The Bengals are horrible and may have the worst OL in the NFL.

As for Cobb starting, I wouldn't mind seeing him get the start against MTSU. We have two quarterbacks that are average passers at best. I'd feel more comfortable with a more athletic, quicker, Cobb. If he can't find anything through the air, let him make something happen with his legs. Hartline is simply too slow to get outside of the pocket and make something happen. There has to be a reason why Hartline started the last two games though. Maybe he out preforms Cobb in practice. Maybe Brooks has issues with playing a Freshman quarterback (as most coaches do). Hartline hasn't done anything to impress anyone yet, but keep in mind, he also hasn't turned the ball over any. That's big. This is a very important year for UK. A 6 win season and a third straight bowl game would help our recruiting out a ton. I feel like Cobb gives us the best chance of winning.

I'm fine with either QB throwing the ball out of bounds. If you don't have an open receiver, throw it at the mascot or the cheer leaders, just don't throw it to the other team.
