  1. Boyd gets the win and the shut out over East Carter. A nice start to what should be a solid season for Boyd.
  2. I noticed that. He's unusually calm for an opening game against a team that has become a rival. It's weirding me out actually.
  3. If Dickie weren't complaining, I'd be seeking under ground shelter.
  4. Is run defense going to be the downfall of Ashland this year or is the Raceland ground game really strong ?
  5. It should be 21 nothing. Boyd has had a ton of penalties.
  6. Doesnt surprise me much. Russell is tough year in year out. For those interested, Boyd is up on East Carter 14-0 at half :thumb:
  7. From what I've heard, Marriage is the best treatment
  8. Shame on you guys. This is real and can happen to any of us. Sex is very comparable to some of your harder drugs. Most people are usually hooked after their first try:D
  9. I think you actually have to play the other team every now and then for it to fall under the rivalry category.
  10. QB is my biggest worry for UK. Hartline has zero experience. Along with that, his first start will be against an instate rival at their place. A combination of those things could equal a long day for him and UK. Hartline's given me no reason to have any confidence in him. He's also given me no reason to doubt him. You gotta give the guy a chance to step up and take care of business I suppose.
  11. I share some of the same quirks with other posters. The bills in my wallet must be in order: 1's, 5's, 10's, ect. I also have the pocket system that Sticky Mitts mentioned. Front Left Pocket: Cell Phone and loose change. Rear Left Pocket: Keys Rear Right Pocket: Wallet Before I go to sleep, every door must be shut and every light must be off in my room. I can't sleep if a closet light is on or my bathroom door is open.
  12. How would you feel if UC had picked this guy up GT ?
  13. Kind of what I was thinking. Marijuana is legal in Amsterdam and Holland I believe. Anyone have any insight on how the decision to make it legal has affected these places ? Crime rates, economy, ect. ? I honestly have no idea and am too lazy to research it.
  14. :thumb: Cantwell shouldn't have any problem looking impressive compared to UK's offense
  15. Alcohol also effects the mind. It effects the mind in a much more destructive way. I've never met an angry pot smoker. Ever watch an episode of cops when they have to deal with someone who is high ? The person typically giggles and calmly slides into the back seat of the cop car. The drunk on the other hand typically screams obscenities and makes a scene that usually ends up in the person being tazed. No one is talking about addiction here. I believe many are talking about occasionally doing this. Believe it or not, many adults are capable of having a good time every now and then and not NEEDING to do the same exact thing the next night. Let's compare it to fast food. I don't NEED to eat a double cheese burger from McDonalds. I'm not addicted to them. Every time I eat one, I'm fully aware of the weight gain it could cause me and the fact that it's generally just not that great to put in my body. I eat it anyway. Why ? Because it tastes good of course. Just like I like to go out with the guys and have a few beers, heck, maybe even a few too many on a saturday night. I think it's fun and thats why I do it. It doesn't mean that I'm an addict.
  16. As I said earlier, if marijuana were made legal and proven to be of the same harm or less harmful that alcohol, would you have a problem with someone occasionally smoking it ?
  17. 1) No 2) Yes My question for you STRIKE : 1.)Do you have a problem with people drinking alcohol ? 2.)Do you have a problem with people occasionally drinking alcohol with the intentions of getting drunk ?
  18. Well thats a completely different subjuect. That goes into moral issues, not just the law. I can respect that LRCW :thumb:
  19. I wasn't asking the question based on the intentions and affects of drinking a few beers and smoking a joint. I was asking the question based on a completely legal stand point (leaving all religious views out). As in, if marijuana were proven to be of the same harm, or less harmful to your body, and legal, would you have a problem watching or knowing that your child who is legally an adult smoke marijuana on his own property ? I should have made that question much more clear :thumb:
  20. Would you be alright with watching your 21 year old son drink a few beers in his own home ?
  21. :thumb: With the amounts of exposure high school athletes get today, they are all fair game for criticism. Not just Euton, but every player who puts on a uniform. If a kid isn't mature enough to handle the criticism, they they aren't mature enough to play sports at the collegiate level. Mr. Eutons son is going to get a free education at a nice university. I wouldn't complain about the criticism.
  22. Clyde, I guess my main problem with you smoking it in your own home is the fact that in order to obtain the weed, you have to, in some way, go through a drug dealer... I've never met an honest drug dealer. I've never trusted a drug dealer. The people that you buy this stuff from are the same people that will break into your house over a 100 dollar dvd player. They aren't good people and have no place in society. Thats really my only beef with it. Quite honestly, I think it should be legal.
