Just got back from Danville... 0-11. All I can say is... Thank god it's over! Better luck next year Scotties! Also, good job to Danville! They have my full support from here on out! :thumb:

Exactly... You can't compare scores. I'd like to see a outer-Louisville school beat a Louisville school as much as the next person... But I don't see that happening this year.

Lets not get carried away here... Highlands is a good team. But I'm not ready to throw them into a pool with St. X and expect them to come back alive.

Last time Glasgow went 0-10 was back in the 1940's. Indeed it's not been a good season... The Scotties have been plagued with injuries. They need to go into Danville with a positive outlook on things... It's a new season. It's the post-season! Then next year they really need to focus on their line. You've got to be able to block for your Quarterback and Running Back on Offense... And on Defense you must be able to tackle! By the time the Cornerback tackles the player it's too late! As for this game, the Scotties got down into the 5 yard line twice in the first half with the score still close. First time they fumbled on a pitch, the second time they weren't able to punch it into the endzone. Seems like everything that could've gone wrong did. I hate it that this group of seniors were not able to taste victory their senior year.

Micah Johnson wasn't apart of the 03 Falcon team or at least not a major part... and Bardstown trounced Glasgow 49-0... at Glasgow in the '05 Football season. They played at Bardstown the next year losing I think 35-6. :thumb: It'd be nice to be back to '00 and '01 and have the Depps, Huffmans, Browns, etc... back. But i'm afraid those days are loooong gone. We've still got the bagpipes though! Though they aren't even what they used to be.. :sssh:

NO BLOCKING, NO BLOCKING, NO TACKLEING, NO BLOCKING! No folks this isnt your traditional Glasgow Scottie Football team. In the last 5 years we've went from an excellent program who knocked off #1 ranked Fort Campbell and Micah Johnson, to a team that is 7 games into the season and hasnt won a game. Once again, the story of the night is.... Glasgow can't block and give the QB any time to pass or give the RB's a clear lane, and the Glasgow D can not make a tackle! It's as simple as that! If anything looks bright right now, it's that the JV team has only one loss and that was to Bowling Green 7-6. The middle school is looking good as well. Maybe one day we'll be back...
