Great game Cats, looked like the old team,the seniors lead this game very well, they were full of fight. Awesome catch by Whaley in the endzone, great throw by Wrobleski. It had to be the best game I have seen the cats play this year. Keep it up CATS!!!

After the performance at Owen, I would have to say Wayne Co 35 PC 7. The moral of the team is way way down.

5th year

Downhill in participation and leadership, not in number of games won. It isn't just about winning, there is a big difference on that field between the past and now.

It seems that way, I just don't see a team out there. It is such a shame to have it go downhill after the past seasons, I guess that's what happens with new staff...

I will just say that the '70 O line walked out of Ft. Thomas with many a scholarship...my brother went to Murray on a full ride... They lifted weights in my basement all year long and ran their butts off through town. Very dedicated bunch of boys then and seems as though very dedicated bunch in Ft T now...

Anderson has not lost a game, PC has lost lot of players to injuries, my prediction AC 54 PC 0 Not a good year in Falmouth...

With all the injuries and the fighting amongst the players at PC, this will be very tough game. I think we are now down to about 25 players, with some of them playing hurt. The D has to really step it up a notch in order to stop the bulldogs. Good Luck and prayers for no more injuries(either side). Hang tough PC...

Not real thrilled with the Camel leading the Cats, looked like pee wee football out there, my brother played the read and react defense at Highlands back in the late 60's and that's what it looked like against Paris. Hopefully our big guns will be alive and well for this one, always an emotional game. Don't feel as though I could call this one a PC win just yet...although my heart is always with the CATS!!!! Go "O"!!! Hold that line boys!! Go PC! win one for old "Woody":thumb:

I didn't see a whole lot of the game but I know Teegarden had Koeninger as QB when I was watching...SK has a really big good team but in PC defense, they are small in numbers and the majority of the "O" line is out right now,hopefully back next week...could be long PC year!!

BBHS has one of the finest football coaches I have ever known with Carver...wish him all the best and he is already truely missed at PCHS...

Been there done that with the Shearer brothers, some kids liked them, some didn't...heard Teegarden is starting conditioning with the boys not only weight lifting...good luck!!

Coach Carver would have been with PC for his 5th year next year, he came from up in Columbus OH region. I am not sure of his defense/offense game plans. Very well respected in this region, was asked to be part of the committee on forming the new classes. His players loved him, kind of reminds me of a young Woody Hayes...

where is western hills? maybe good fit for coach carver...

Not only heart and soul but his own monies...this is such a shame. I have heard that some of the boys will move to other areas to play too. I really feel sorry for the team and the Carver family. I hope that someday the real truth comes out about this, I am thinking that when new coach is hired it will. I have heard that PC has hired an assistanct coach, how nice, I sure hope they told him that he is on his own for now. Carver has carried this team to winning seasons pretty much on his own shoulders, they really never had any assistants for him.

no matter how good the pitching is you definitely need defensive players to field, kind of hard to win a game with just the pitcher and catcher. on the other side, offensively you do need good batters or how else will you ever going to put up any runs? no matter how good the pitcher, their will be a batter at the plate that can hit her pitch. i know on our team we have one girl who is really awesome at getting hits off some of the best pitchers in nky. this girl would rather face a pitcher who can throw it down, feels it is harder to hit off a slower pitcher. in our school the problem starts with very small feeder system and then at least half of our team plays basketball and cannot start practicing until after that season.

Just searching to see how important spring practice is to the upcoming season? Our practice may not happen and just wanted opinions, thanks.
