  1. He may have regrets later on in life, but thats for him to tell everyone later on years from now. Mom and Dad are dissapointed, especially if he has to take out loans to go to school. But he made the choice to finish on his own terms and seem content with his decision. Any athlete that can finish on his own terms and is happy about it, I say, "Way to Go". Good Luck to Johnathon on his future endeavors.
  2. I don't either, but you don't cut two players before camp,IMO, before you see if Huber works out, gets hurt or whatever else. Just keep them around for insurance and if they are not needed, cut them during training camp.
  3. Two main reasons, one, he was an all-american and very good punter, and two, he is a 4th or 5th round draft choice and Mike Brown won't have to pay him as much as a 5th year man. I would have waited till camp started before I cut my veterans to see if the rookie was going to work out though.
  4. The Bengals announced today that Kyle Larson and off-season accquisition Ryan Plackmeier had been released since they drafted Huber.
  5. I have a Pug. Very affectionate and good with kids. Sheds all the time though.
  6. ESPN reported that they both needed to return for 1 more season. The reasons they stated was that Meeks is a mid 2nd round draft choice at best and Patterson was lower half of the first round. They also stated that they needed significant work on parts of their game that they could work on by comming back for 1 more year.
  7. Is Mike Brown out sick and Katie and Pete are at home taking care of him? Is Marvin and the rest of the coaches and scouting staff running amok at PBS? Inquiring minds want to know!
  8. This is the so called "bad" part of recruiting by Coach Cal or any other coaches for that matter, top recruits in the country milking the university and the press and anyone else for as much press as they can get. John Wall knows where he is going to go and I believe he knew a week ago, he just enjoys leading people around.
  9. Does it really matter with Mikey Boy still running show?:idunno:
  10. If she stays out of jail, and that is a very big if, I am sure Playboy would give her a very nice payday to pose with a Louisville jersey on several pages of their magazine. And if the issue was to come out in March and Louisville were to be in the final 4... think of the possibilities.
  11. I may be reading something out of nothing, but it sounds like the KHSAA is waiting to move teams before the 2010-11 season, like some of the threads a month or two ago were stating. I think they take up re-alignment in two years. As far as Fleming Co. is concerned, just a hunch, but in 2 years, Fleming Co. will be back in the 10th Region.
  12. I have read the entire thread, and from the facts that everyone has stated the woman is of questionable morals and scruples, Rick Pitino is a great coach but not a great person at times. As far as UL and firing Pitino, does he have a morals clause in his contract and IF he had an affair does that violate the contract? If it does, then Jurich has tough decision to make.
  13. As far as UK is concerned, the title of the thread, he was a bust.
  14. He got kicked off the team, for doing drugs, and didn't complete a promising career, "A Bust"!
  15. 1. Harry Callahan (Eastwood) 2. John McClain (Willis) 3. John Matrix (Governator) 4. Chuck Norris from "Delta Force" 5. James Bond (Connery or Craig)
  16. I don't quite understand, but he has the right to speak his mind, whether or not I agree or disagree with his position.
  17. When did ethics become involved for some of those in higher power positions, such as owners and star players. As long as they don't break the law, their going to stand up for their postions, ethics are thrown out the window.
  18. Freedom of speech and 1st Amaendment rights! If a player has played for or has first hand knowledge from a close friend on another team, he has the right to speak his mind. Even if he hasn't played or has first hand knowledge, let him speak, he will be thought a fool and trouble maker in these instances, but he has the right to speak, no matter how right or wrong he is.
  19. Chuck Alexinas and Dwight Anderson
