I agree Bracken does not have the talent that Mason has, but really who does. I just think that they can play with them better then they have. Some teams seem not to let the Mason name scare them as much as some others. Bracken needs to take a at the Demming and Augusta Games last year. If The Polar Bears leave it all on the floor, this game can be close. With in 15 points Is a possiblitity. Some may say thats not close, But indeed it is. Good Luck Polar Bears.

As a fan of this team, and even more as Parent of one of his players. There is no one I would rather have coach my son. And that’s a fact. I may not understand all of his decisions, but I do know he is the best coach for this team. Our team.

You have missed out on seeing a very special player. Maybe able to see him play at NKU soon. Or maybe at the feildhouse if the cards fall their way.

Augusta JV also wins tonight 52-24 Augusta's JV team ends the year at 13-6. They are just a fun team to watch. Young team of mostly sophmores that have come a long way. Just listed the top six. They my not be the most impressive numbers but the bottom line is this team plays as a team and should be very proud of it. I know your fans are proud of you.

Game started out close. Heritage would lead by 2 after 1 14-12. Augusta would outscore Heritage 24-13 in the second and play hard for four quarters and win going away. I once saw a coach whos daughter played for him. And he rode her so hard during a game that she was in tears. I swear everytime down the floor he would scream, Hollie do this, Hollie do that, Hollie. Opposing team fans accually started cheering her on because they felt so bad for her. Now that is a sad sad parent in my book. People can think what they want, I am a parent and yes I have questions. But I do not attack coaches. I support the teams. Quagmire you should know that, not just the teams but the school. I don't have a kid playing Volley Ball, nor a High School girl ball player. Yet I attend all the Home games of any sport. Thats more then you can say for alot of parents. I could just drop my kids at the school steps and go home. Why dont I ? because I love the school and my kids. Just because I did not go to school there does not matter. I do have four kids in Augusta school and they will not go anywhere else but Augusta. I will be around this school and programs for as long as the good lord lets me. IT is just frustrating after last year and over the summer. I along with alot of Parents and fans had high expectations for this team.

Kinda surprised by this one. Were on a good roll to end the season. Still don't let this get you down Lady Bears and fans. You all have a good team, one to be proud of.

What was the JV record for the Lady Bears this year. Just wondering.

I may not agree with you on everything nor you I, but there are just things you say away from your team and when I see you coach they make more sense. Thats all I mean. Like most of your players. I just want to learn more about the game.

Code gets my vote. He has the most disciplined team I have ever seen. No one player trying to do more then they need too and trying be the superstar. To have a talent rich team and not a player sticking out more then the other. Says alot for the team and coach. JMO

Great game tonight Lady Bears, best of luck to these young Ladies. Deming, also best of luck. These are two young teams with bright futures. Just a couple of comments. #24 of Deming is just a 7th grader correct. 7th/8th grade season my daughter had the job of "guarding" her. She tells me “Dad, that’s the girl that stepped on my foot”. I said yes she is. Anyone who knows my daughter would be sorry to hear that. She is kind of small but still never backed down. That young lady has a bright future. 2nd Comment, URIT. No need to say thanks. I enjoy the game. I will say Thank You URIT. You teach the game to good kids; sometimes you may not realize that you are teaching fans and parents also.

And thats what upsets some parents. Its not always just the players parents that get upset about lack of playing time. It other fans and former players parents and sometimes other players. Parents talk, when someone has 5 parents or fans asking you after every game why "JOE SCHMO" is not playing. Or what does the Coach have against "JOE SCHOME". Or "JOE SCHMO" is the best all around player on the team. Or "JOE SCHMO" is a real team player he and "DAN" play really well together they should get varsity time together. IT makes them think there is in fact something going on. I agree with URIT that some parents do need to shut up. Don't stand outside the locker room waiting on the Coach and say "We Need To Talk" Or call them on the phone and say "My son is a Senior, He deserves to start", or " I am on the school board , play my kid"

So Coaches are always right, and never make mistakes. I do believe one of the if not the best player who ever played the game had a High School Coach in Wilmington NC who said he could not play either. Boy was he right. Give me a break. I have seen kids get playing time and play well. Then make one mistake and sit the rest of the game. While seniors go out there making the same mistakes and nothing is said. I see kids playing varsity ball that led the JV games in turnovers and shoot 20% in the same JV games. People say defense wins, what good is it to steal a ball only to turn it over two seconds later or miss a wide open lay up. But Coaches are NEVER WRONG

And over and over and over...... I have been to all the Augusta games I know.

Agree with this, one thing left out. How many times do you let a kid hit a three before you glue someone to him. If we go after Sat Pat this way we will be in trouble. If we just focus on one or two players, the 3rd ,4th or 5th is going to kill us.

They are better then their record shows. They beat a good St Pat team recently also. They have played some good teams all year and kept the scores pretty close.
