This may be the hardest game to pick of any 10th Region District 1st round game. The Saints have won all three meetings this season. They won at home 72-55. They won at Augusta 66-63, and they won on a neutral court at Bracken Co. 72-67. Augusta has only given up 70+ points 5 times this season. 2 of those games went to overtime in which they were 1-1. But 2 of those 5 games in which they gave up 70+ were against the Saints. Its hard to beat a team four times in one season. But St. Patrick still has something to prove after losing to the Panthers in last seasons District Tournament, so you can throw what has happened so far this season out the window. Both teams will be focusing on this one game and this game only. If the Saints are able to put a lot of points on the board again then it will be difficult for the Panthers to prevail, they don't have that go to guy like St. Patrick does, but what they do have is a couple guys who can step up on any given night. For Augusta to win this game it will take a complete team effort, anything less and Coach Hinson will go to his first Region birth.

Being friends with both of these coaches, it's hard to pick against one of them. It's hard to beat a team 3 times in a seasson, let alone 4. I think though, the Saints will pull this out ina VERY close finish.

It would be nice to see Chris Owens and St. Patrick playing in the regional tournament at the Fieldhouse, agree with the statement that its hard to beat a team 4 times in one season. Could it be the River flowing into the Region for the 2nd straight season? Agree this one is hard to pick of any game I see in the Districts of the Region.....

Is it right that the Saints will be without Newton(quit) and Englert(injury) for this game? That has got to mean something in this 4th matchup. This game has double/triple OT written all over it.

A regional berth for Augusta would be a way for them to counter all of the underacheiving they have done this season. There is fine veteran and young talent there that either hasn't performed or been coached to the best of their ability. Diamonds in the rough.
