dfensewins you should be lucky to have a coach like Robin running your program. He works his tail off for the kids and for Augusta High. One word to sum Robin up would be LOYAL! I believe without a doubt Robin could coach anywhere he wished. But, he wishes to stay in his hometown and help the kids of his alma mater. Any school would be happy to have Robin as their coach. Why would you make such comments?

 

As for the game St. Pat has a rough task ahead to sweep the season. Losing Newton and Englart will be tough to overcome. It's just too close to call. I will say the winner wins by 3 or less.

Some fresh blood is nice for some schools. But, there is an unexplainable reason that kids that grow up here, especially in town, want to play as hard as they can for Robin. If you went to A-Town and lived in Augusta you would understand. It's mostly about pride but also he's just one of them, a nothing to lose, non-intimidated mentality that every Panther shares. No matter the odds Augusta always thinks they can achieve anything, nothing wrong with that.

I know Robin too and I know Augusta Independent Schools. I can assure that Robin Kelsch is the head coach at Augusta for as long as he wants the job. When he becomes an administrator and time becomes scarce then I would say he gets out of coaching. But it will totally be his decision not the schools.

I, obviously, think that Augusta will take this one. The district tournament is always a fresh start on the season for the Augusta Panthers, whether they've had a good or bad season, this game is what brings the fans back to the Den.

Coach Kelsch would be succesful no matter what team he was coaching. He is a Class act in every aspect of High School Athletics and he always has his team ready to play no matter who they are facing. Thats why the kids play hard for him because they RESPECT him as a coach and as a person and its a shame that not all coaches are look at like Coach Kelsch is look at by his players and his community. Kelsch is probably one of the most respected in the 10th. He is one of the best coaches Augusta has ever had. He has always had my respect and always will.

Take it from coach Kelsch's first point guard, no one cares or gives more!!!! The man is the reason I coach!!! His days are far from numbered in a-town.... See ya tonight coach. Should be a dandy!!!!!!
