Theres nothing wrong with the coach they have, If you just dont have the horses, what in the world can a coach do. I believe Robin Works harder and likes kids as much as any coah around, So please dont do that to Coach kelsch

 

 

Bearfacts you hit the nail on the head. I dont know if there is any coach in the region that cares as much for his kids as Robin does. I know Robin very well and there isnt anything he wouldnt do for any of his players.

I have the utmost respect for Robin Kelsch for what he is as a person and as a coach for the 10th Region. That guy is loyal to Augusta, loves working with the kids in Atown. He doesn't have the horses, but with the horses he has whether its any kind of talent or not, he always has his kids playing hard and gets every ounce out of each one of them. Augusta is very fortunate to have Coach Kelsch, someone that realizes that he is not always blessed with the talent that other schools have, but someone that is more importantly has the best interest for the players and knows that there is more to life than just a win on the basketball court night in and night out. This guy does it everyday, loves the game, and is good for Augusta and the game of basketball.

I think the Saints will come away with this one strong. After last year they are ready to got to region, and with Chris Owens and the rest of the

Saints that is where they are heading.

As a fan of this team, and even more as Parent of one of his players. There is no one I would rather have coach my son. And that’s a fact.

I may not understand all of his decisions, but I do know he is the best coach for this team. Our team.

Seing both play quite a few times this year, I could offer some decent analysis, but here's what i have...

Owens too much for Panthers in the big house! It's all or nothing now for the Saints if they wanna go to the Regional. I believe Coach Hinson will turn his horse loose Monday, not to say that he has not already:D . You could see a record number of attempts by Owens.

I have to commend schools like Bracken and St. Pat for going outside the system and getting some fresh blood.

Some fresh blood is nice for some schools. But, there is an unexplainable reason that kids that grow up here, especially in town, want to play as hard as they can for Robin. If you went to A-Town and lived in Augusta you would understand. It's mostly about pride but also he's just one of them, a nothing to lose, non-intimidated mentality that every Panther shares. No matter the odds Augusta always thinks they can achieve anything, nothing wrong with that.

Nothing at all. I know Robin and he's a very good guy. I have to believe that somewhere down the line somebody is going to come along say " Why aren't we winning more" This person may be huge influence on the athletic program, but then again it may have an adverse effect on the program. Who knows, it's a shot in the dark at this level.

I know Robin too and I know Augusta Independent Schools. I can assure that Robin Kelsch is the head coach at Augusta for as long as he wants the job. When he becomes an administrator and time becomes scarce then I would say he gets out of coaching. But it will totally be his decision not the schools.
