They didn't make it to the finals. They lost to Virgie led by Todd May in the 2nd round I believe.

Mason lost to Simon Kenton in 1980-1981 in the finals . The following year 1981-1982 led by Kelly Middleton they went to the state undefeated and lost to Virgie led by 6-8 Todd May in the 2nd round I believe.

I was there and left dissapointed. 14-0 run before a timeout called. Geez, you'd think timeouts cost money or something. Reminded me of the district collapse against Deming.:irked:

The Panthers were dead tired. 3 games in 4 days will do that . They did look great against Fleming Co.
