I saw this on the boys side. Just curious on what ladies can or will be playing at the college level.

How about Josh White of Augusta, Smart player and good leader. Does he have a chance at a small school. Hardymon from Augusta is said to be going to KCU.

This is a pretty accurate statment, If you only go by what Augusta showed against Mason Co. They will play tough you have to belive that. If they protect the ball and go strong to the basket they can keep this closer then many think.They also need to take the open shots outside. I not saying they will pull a major upset but I dont see them playing poorly in this one. I for one did not criticize Mason for the final score in the District game. You are right Augusta did little to help their cause in that game. Lets go A-Town Seniors and show why you belong in the Regions.

Along with Darius Miller and Tony Browning from Mason Co. Cooper from Bracken Co. has some hops too. Did he not get a T for dunking in warmups first game of the year. Chris Mofford of Augusta can get up there but would not say he is a high flyer yet. But will get there in the next two years. I would also say the King boys from Deming will be on this list soon.

This was not as bad as the score shows D-man. Augusta just could not get many to drop. They had their chances to keep it closer. Augusta was playing their entire bench at the end. Just gave all the kids a chance at playing at the feildhouse.

I was just making the statement that its ok for some to question PT and others can't. Accually I have no problems with thet way this team has played or been coached. They give 100% every game. I find it odd that a team with only a couple of losses can can have fans complain about PT. When I and others get beat up for the same thing. Looks like Mason Co. Is doing just fine with who they are playing.

Yes Hardymon and White did play hard and it is hard to intimidate the two of them. They are seniors and need to set the bar. I would not say everyone else played scared. I know some players had more to deal with then others. No matter what they say Shooty is more then a water boy. Hamilton needs to work on the walking, it was not just in this game but a problem all year. The kid can play, just needs to play more within himself. I do think Mofford grew up alot this year. He really makes a difference on the floor. He is not afraid of anything. Ty Krebs handled the ball and pressure well in the time he was out there, he too is not afraid of anyone. He is playing with alot more confidence then he gets credit for. This team is not done yet and can win a region game.

Panthers- Give Ty Krebs PT and Give Chris Mofford More. They both can play. Don't really matter. They are Just sophmores and have a bright future. I was Proud that these young men along with all the younger players off the bench never backed down from anyone. I like how some people get beat up over this PT stuff and some don't.:sssh:

Congrats Mason Co. AUGUSTA,you boys never gave up. Still see some bright spots on this team. Will be interesting in the regions on how the teams draw. Regroup Panthers. We are proud no matter what.

I can say that because when they really needed to pull together they did. I have seen this team play many games this year. They are a young team with lots of potential. Frankly they don’t need to show you anything. Really, It does not matter what I think as long as they believe in themselves.

A Great game to watch. Best of luck to both teams. Bracken will be a force the next few years and then some. Kinda showed last night why I asked if they were a dark horse early in the year. Next year might even be considered a contender. Again best of luck to both Teams.

This is not very accurate. I sat behind the St.Pat bench. St. Pat coach called a timeout late in the game. I clearly heard him say to slow the pace down on the the breaks. Hold up and pass the ball around. accurate. I even told my BGP buddy Big Daddy Bear that it was a classy move. Think about it and they way they played and who was playing clearly showed that. At least to me. Congrats to the Lady Saints. Lady Panthers, you have nothing to be ashamed of. You all are wonderfull young ladies. You all have come a long way. The two seniors, you will be missed on the floor but I know you will still be around the Den. Best of luck in your future.

Thanks Quagmire, not only am I trying to learn this wonderfull game of basketball. I am learning more and more about what it means too our little town. Nights like tonight just make things much more clearer.

What did everyone think of Augusta's band tonight at the game and at the prep rally. Did a great job IMO.

Post about the game. I am here to give some info. GREAT GAME !!!! Augusta leads after one 19-9 and St. pat battles back to take the lead going into the half behind a 16-9 second. Augusta would put together a strong third quarter out scoring St Pat 20-11. St Pat would cut into Augusta's lead and tie it up with under a min. to play. A big block by Chris Mofford and some key free throws would seal the deal in the end. Josh White polished up his General Stars and ran the floor very well. Little bro also played very well. He pressures the ball very well, and has great handles too. Dustin Staggs, Jeremy Hardymon, and Chris Moffords were big on the boards, I had all three with 6 each, could have been more like I say I miss a few. Bottom line this was a great team effort, could not ask for anything more. Josh White led Augusta with 17 points and about 7 assits Jeremy Hardymon added 10 Dustin Staggs and Matt groves 9 Shawn White and Chris Mofford 4 (Mofford also had 4 blocked shots) Steven Cummins 3 Congrats to the whole team, as Robin said tonight 14 panthers made this possible. Thats just the players. There are also the big Panthers on the bench that bring them to the Gym. Thanks too all the Coaches who teach our kids day in and day out. You have all help mold some very great young men. :dancingpa

I would help some of the rialary games mean alittle bit more also.
