These are two young teams with bright futures. Just a couple of comments. #24 of Deming is just a 7th grader correct. 7th/8th grade season my daughter had the job of "guarding" her. She tells me “Dad, that’s the girl that stepped on my foot”. I said yes she is. Anyone who knows my daughter would be sorry to hear that. She is kind of small but still never backed down. That young lady has a bright future. 2nd Comment, URIT. No need to say thanks. I enjoy the game. I will say Thank You URIT. You teach the game to good kids; sometimes you may not realize that you are teaching fans and parents also.

I may not agree with you on everything nor you I, but there are just things you say away from your team and when I see you coach they make more sense. Thats all I mean. Like most of your players. I just want to learn more about the game.

I am willing to teach anyone anything that I know about the game of basketball.. It makes my job easier though when the players want to listen and get better.

U Reach I Teach Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 We finished with 4 wins in a row over Nicholas Co, Williamstown, Augusta, and Deming. Before that we lost to Brossart by 2, Beat Fleming Co, lost to Harrison Co. by 5. Overall we did well against 10th Region teams... I think we finished 9-7 after looking at our schedule.
Big Daddy Bear Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 NIce win for the Lady bears. Got some quality time from some players off the bench. In particular, Ahrens and Ware. I think the big #31 is getting better every game. And Ware has really stepped up her game after a tough middle strech of the season. Gonna need to go deep in the bench to go anywhere in the district, IMO.

I think the Lady Devils just got tired in the last quarter, they played write with the Lady Bears until later, one thing I will say if they had done the things like they started out palying might have been a different game. Woods had 9pts.Carmack had 12pts.
