Bracken Co. traveled to Calvary Christian with the hopes of spoiling a senior night. Instead it was their night that got spoiled. The Lady Bears led by as many as 14 in the second half before being outscored 26-9 in the 4th quarter.

All of the credit in the world needs to be given to the Lady Cougars because they never gave up, kept battling, and pulled out a hard fought victory on Senior Night.

 

The Lady Bears turned it over 28 times in the game and rushed a lot of shots late with a lead. Both contributed to the outcome of the game.

 

Dana Figgins led the Lady Bears with 22 points.

Kinda surprised by this one. Were on a good roll to end the season. Still don't let this get you down Lady Bears and fans. You all have a good team, one to be proud of.

They have an extemely fine bunch of young ladies on and off the court.............................................the future talent is there.

I'm pretty sure that the Lady Bears won the 10th Region freshman tournament. They may be a year or two away, but the future looks very bright in Brooksville.
