Or a dictatorship? From what I hear you have the two that transfered to Knott and the big guy not playing either. The only player that I can remember that got playing time last year and is returning is Clint Stepp. There a young player or two that may be competitive in a couple years but lack the physical capability.

So who all is going to play at the collegiate level? All I heard was some maybes but no definates yet. Heather Sturdivant to Union(pre injury). Kendra Combs to Berea. Megan Mosley to I believe Berea or Transy. Shouse to a Coastal Carolina or Alice Lloyd. Girls ( I believe both may come, I not for sure the names) from Clay County to Alice Lloyd. Who else???

From what I am told the guy who stepped in last year has the choice of staying there or stepping down. I believe he still is undecided but I didnt mean that in that they are looking because I believe they hope he stays. My fault on the misunderstanding, I meant that in a way as of the coaching situation that occured during the middle of the season with Coach Bates and him leaving in the middle of the last season.

Owsley will only loose two players from the previous season. They loose their go to girl in Kendra Combs (signing with Berea) and a great example as a role player in Corina Thacker which will hurt. They bring back the future juniors in Gilbert twins, a future senior in Candi Combs and some young talent in Payton(8th I believe) that should be ready for next year. This team is still young but have played together for a while. I look for them to be a up paced team. The biggest problem for them now are tring to find a coach.

Thats what I was thinking as I read it. I would bet on that South Sophmores over the Seniors team.

Glad to hear Mason won it. Seems like I have been a fan of Mason's every since the Chris Lofton era.

Well thats what I was told from an Alum of June B. but thats just what I was told.

They just can't close down. They have to finish out the ninth grade and up before closing.

All-Tournament team is a great idea because a player that may not be on a such talented team but plays well may not be capable of going all the way. This gives them the self recognition they deserve. I know its a team sport but not every talented individual can play a regional competitive team. Some have overachieved just by reaching regionals. Never-ever should an all tournament team be picked by a coach or anyone associated with that school. This is when politics/favorites become involved and nothing good comes out of it. It not always easy to pick the winner of this award because sometime 2 players have a similiar good game but neither one stands out more than the other. This is when feelings get hurt and everything starts going down hill.

Try 5-1 ratio. At one time in the game in the second half they had Perry with 2 fouls and LCC 10. I dont know exactly how many was total for them because the scoreboard just goes up to 10. IMO some of the fouls that ended the game that were on Perry took away oppurtunities for LCC. I'm not a LCC fan but there were a delayed fould call when LCC had a open layup after a tough drive that could of been called 5 to 10 seconds earlier. A charge or 2 that looked like 2 back to back horrible calls late in the game. Like I said before, I dont think that anyone took it because both teams play hard and had chances to pull away. I woud also have to say the officials are consistantly horrible. But maybe a little boost here and there didn't seem to hurt late in the game for PCC.

Same thing I heard from inside the systems. I also heard that Collins walked out on a team meeting either yesterday evening or today as a result of not wanting to play under the system anymore. "who wants to play here next year":argue:"Me.......NOT"

Heather has been told that she has a strained meniscus, possible slightly torn MCL but not a torn ACL or anything permanently damanged. She has been told to rest it and never apply pressure for a while then she should be back to her quick self in a couple months.

Tate Cox lives just over the mountain from June B and KCC. It is about 5 miles to June B schools or it is 5 miles the other way to KCC, maybe even less than that. Gas prices shouldn't be a factor.

I have heard from a friend of Tate's that he did transfer to KCC today. He visited the other day to get the paperwork situation started but if what I was told is correct from a very reliable source then he is a Patriot starting tomorrow.

I agree. If Estill was hitting like they did againest Jackson City then they would be playing Tuesday night. Hazard's defense didnt beat Estill as much as Estill not knocking down good/earned shots. If Perry is hitting then they may be going to Rupp. IMO thats the largest factor for Tuesday's game.

It was a great game. Back and forth then back again. Both teams play hard and made mistakes that ended up costing them. The only thing I can wonder about is the late 4 calls in a roll under 1:30 to go and a 2pt game and all of them questionable and all went againest LCC.(especially the 2 back to back charge and block calls). I'm not saying anyone took it just wondering if anyone else is thinking what I'm thinking?

Hazard will win the same way they won in the distric finals. They will keep the pressure constant and Keep Perry from getting hot and pull this one out by 12-15pts. Unless Perry gets hot then they dont have a chance.

Heather had an MRI done the next day but where it was on Saturday there wasn't a doctor to interpret it. She will be visting Lexington today sometime to have further tests done. Nothing official yet. Anyone please up-date if anything is heard and pray for a great recovery, I'll do the same.

Eventhough these players are the best big men in the region, they're not by far the best player on their team, except for maybe Gay from Buckhorn. Collins is nothing more than a roll player for June B, Smith is the 2nd or 3rd options, Pelfrey probaly 3rd on his list and McIntosh seem to fade away as the season went along(eventhough he did have a nice distric tournament game but never became consistant.) All of these players are nice players but don't always seem to be involved in every play like a top 10 or a go to guy would be.
