Congrats LC! PCC gave the Lady Eagles all they had. With Leslie and PCC only losing one senior a piece, this rivalry will only get better. Overall, this was a great game. Both teams have many talented players. Rankin for PCC is going to be a force, & Crawford from Leslie is an excellent young guard that has only gotten better as the season went on. Once again, congrats Leslie for capturing your program its 14th District title!

I've seen the freshmen play once. She reminds me a little of Kendall Noble, in the way she handles the ball. If the right coach got a hold of her, she would be the player to match Noble, for their althleticism is much the same.However, a team is more than 1 player, and I dont see her carrying the others.

Of course Breathitt is #1 pre-season, with the return of Noble. Other teams to consider. Breathitt-Loss of Shouse, and the guard, but return alot of young tallent with Noble and the younger Shouse. PCC-Feltner and Sturdivant are gone. Will the others be able to step up? I know the have a talented junior-to-be, not sure of the name. Knott-Mosley has been the team the past few seasons, but I think the others can make some noise. Powell-With the return of McFarland, Powell will be tough. Leslie-Lost a strong group of seniors, but with skilled senior-to-be Bailey at the reins, I think the eagles can contend. What will JBS, Owsley, Hazard, Letcher, and the others look like next year?

Yea, Knott should be tough...Is Mosley the only one they lose? There is really no clear #1 out of the top teams; as far as I can tell there will be quite a few teams vying for the 14th region crown next year
