:thumb: Leslie also returns arguably there best player from last season in Hillary Moore. I think she will only be a sophmore or Junior. She will be really fun to watch in the coming years.

I think you will be suprised with the Lady Owls of Owsley County this year. They return everyone except two and have brought back veteran coach Paul Green.

Also a team that won a holiday tournament in Florida, won 12 games, and was defeated by two points in overtime in the district tournament and a JV team that finished last season at 12-3. Not to mention had their coach quit at the half way point in the season.

 

Owsley County returns a solid foundation of girls with 5 seniors that are ready to play and Junior Mika Turner who will be a top 10 player in the region. But the player that the 14th will notice this season and the next 4 seasons is Freshman Peyton Wright 5'10, left handed and one of the top athletes in the region. She started coming on last season and scored in double digits in 6 of Owsley's last 8 games and also recorded 5 double doubles in those games. Not bad for an 8th grader.

Noble and Breahitt will dominate the 14th next year. As a 7th and 8th grader she was a huge reason that Breathitt has been to back to back sweet 16's.

She is one of the best athletes in the Mountains. She is a natural at basketball, I have seen her play several times and she has impressed me with her ability. Her stats tell the story, ecspecially those at the state tourney.
