Actually, Cory was pitched to every at bat except his second at bat when he was given a free pass with runnes on second and third. He was thrown out at second twice yesterday....not his best day.

Ryle hitters last year were good enough to beat a much better then 08 Cov Cath team 3 out of 4 games, and the Region. I suppose that's all that matters.

True, but you missed his point....Dixie only has 1 win, against Holmes. At least Ryle beat a ranked team. But neither Ryle, Dixie or Cov Cath are among the top 25 this year, so far. But the season is young.

How many solo shots will he hit in the one spot vrs 2 or 3 run shots from the 3 spot? That will be interesting to watch.

I understand the idea is to make sure Maile gets pitched to, and last night he was pitched to every at bat, but you are only quaranted to come up in the leadoff spot once per game. After that it's random odds. And I would think your one and two hitters would get on base more then your eight nine hitters.

Unless you have strong 7 - 8 - 9 hitters, you'e right.

Don't know about you web, but when a kid lines a ball off an infielders glove, I've always scored it an error. But the Old Guy was sitting with Ryne Ernst and I guess thet decided to give him a single. LOL I'll check the official book next time I see Roesel.

Not like he went in the hole with a backhand and threw across the diamond, it was a slow roller. and the ball was lined right at the second baseman with the runner stranded half way. That's like saying a routine fly to the centerfielder was a web gem because it ended the game.....give me a break
