What ???? Disagree with the outcome ????? I'am shocked. We have only played one game up in Northern Kentucky so far this year. I am also tired of the start and stop season we've had so far. But you can't mess with Mother Nature.

Mandatory / required vacation ? That sounds like it could involve a bail bondsmen. LOL Good to have ya back....look forward to seeing you Wednesday. Weather is supposed to be sunny, don't know about the food arrangements this year though. It would be hard to compete with Mary, anyway.

Might as well start the chatter. Game is scheduled for 5:00 Wednesday afternoon at Ryle. Neither team playing up to their standards so far this year so this could be the game that gets both teams on pace. I'll go with the Raiders. CCH doesn't seem to have much luck in Union. But it should be a good one.

Where ya been old guy? So the Home Run count is one for Maile and one for Farris? Looks like we got a game scheduled with the CCH boys at Ryle Wednesday night....are you going to be there?

Two missed calls cost the Raiders 2 runs in a one run ballgame. First a blown call in the first inning where the outfielder clearly dove and rolled over the ball, pulled it out from under his body and fired it to second to try to get the runner after the run scored makes me wonder why he would throw to second with 2 outs if he thought he made the catch. Second was a bases loaded, strike called with a full count. Ball was down and outside and I don't think the hitter could have reached the ball to foul it off if he wanted to. That said, this game would have never been that close if the Raiders start hitting the ball like we know they can. They made an average pitcher look real good. One bright spot, Chandler looked great behind the plate blocking everything and gunning down a pretty speedy runner. I think the boys will be fine when they get to play four or five games a week and get in a rythem instead of once a week.

I don't think Lloyd has lost s game this year, and Dixie hasn't won one yet.

That may move X up in the coaches poll. LOL

Shanks isn't on Thomas More's roster. Nick is on the roster, but not playing. Don't know about the other two.

Don't need to watch one particular game to form my opinion, I watched many St Henry games over the years. Besides, I don't think it would have taken Joe Torre to manage a big win over Newport. So, Speedy....when was the last time St Henry made it out of the Districts? Have they ever?

I think you're right on both accounts. Coach L loves his baseball...and the kids too.

Show me ONE WORD in that statemment that is Ryle biased. Like I said, IMO. Key words there are IMO. Think what you like but not everyone thinks Walt is the be all, end all in coaching. And if his summer club is the cats' meow little old Kentucky Kings should not be beating them every year...but they do.

Elliot only threw 2 innings against Ryle in 06. I know the Ryle boys can hit, but they would have had to batted around like five times for your son to have gone 0 for 4. LOL

See they moved Eastern up to 6, I actually think they are even better then that. Where did Beechwood go ???????

Now that's funny....I don't think they make horses THAT dark. They barely squeeed by Newport tonight. They don't have the players or coaching to cross the finish line....IMO.

Kyle O'Hara got his first outing under his belt, think he gave up the run. Charlie Lovan pitched two, three up three down innings. Luke Letherbee went 3 for 4 at the plate, and I hear Gus Murray is starting to show some Murray power. Congrats Raiders. Beechwood tomorrow. Heck yes.

Yep..I was sitting there last year when the Ryle kids were sooooo scared of Elliot that they ran him off the hill in four innings of his first start. Soooooo scared the lead off hitter short hoped the fence in left center for a double. One thing is obvious, you don't know Ryle kids very well. They would rather see someone like Elliot who throws in the 80's then some of those other kids Bob threw against them last year. They had one pitch, a change-up.

I saw the 08 Raiders play Brossart, Eastern and E Town. They have some hitters on this club, they just seem to lack a little confidence early in the season, but they are playing with the best of them. They will be tough in May and June. And I was responding specifically to the post "If Elliot pitche, Beechwood wins," and why I disagree with that statement.

Thursday at Florence Freedom. Unless it,s too wet then they may try to play it at Ryle.....supposed to rain Thusday afternoon though.

Don't think Lloyd has lost a game yet this year and Dixie has not won a game this year, yet Dixie is ranked and Lloyd is not....go figure.
