Ryle 5 Brossart 1

Kyle O'Hara got his first outing under his belt, think he gave up the run. Charlie Lovan pitched two, three up three down innings. Luke Letherbee went 3 for 4 at the plate, and I hear Gus Murray is starting to show some Murray power. Congrats Raiders.

Beechwood tomorrow. Heck yes.

Going to be a very interesting game. I'm going with Beechwood by 3 runs. But good luck to the Raiders they always put all there effort out on the field.:ylsuper:

I was very impressed with Brossart's second pitcher (#22). Threw hard, hard a nice curveball, and was constantly around the plate. Believe he threw 3 innings and Ryle didn't do much to him. In fact, he rung up a couple of K's in which he made Ryle hitters look overmatched.

Looked like Ryle OF had a very nice defensive performance today. Saw some hard hit balls tracked down quite nicely.

Heard the JV played on the opposite field tonight, how did they do?

I'am in Michigan watching the Yankees, but I will be back for the Beechwood game.

Ryle JV picks up their third shutout and run rule of the young season, winning by a score of 10-0. There is most definitely plenty of talent in the well at Ryle coming up in the next few years. This JV team is one of the best fielding teams (for their age) that I've seen.

Ryle always seems to have an outstanding JV team, and varsity.

I thought the score was 4-1 but I could be wrong.

That was Tyler Verst who you're thinking of...

A very underrated, yet very good pitcher. His curveball is very, very good...
