The good for CovCath:

 

Everybody played, and anytime everybody gets to play, it's good for the team.

 

Neihaus pitched 4 complete innings of 1 run baseball. In the second inning he gave up a single, but Maile cut the runner down trying to steal. The next batter walked but House picked the batter off first, and for the third out of the inning he struck out the batter. So the boxscore read 1 hit, 1 walk 0 lob, been a while since I have seen such a summary of a inning without a DP with only three men batting with 1 hit and 1 walk and 0 lob

 

Lafever again looked good in the field and at the plate.

 

Maile crushed the ball all day. If the weather was warmer two of his balls just might have been HR, but as it was he had a triple in the first, and a double in the third.

 

For the first time since his freshmen year, Isler caught a inning, and look good doing it. Ice also went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles 2 rbi and 1 run scored

 

Senior John Whery struck out two in the bottom of the seventh to close out the game and knocked in a run for his first RBI of the season.

 

Sainola and Krumie both looked sharp in limiting St. Henry to just 1 hit between them.

They don't. They couldn't get on the field at St. Henry until after 5pm and with the temps tommorrow in the low 40's, there was no need to risk an injury to a player in such weather. IMO, smart move by Krumps.
