The middle infield thing was just to stir up the conversation, but I do think Ryle will beat Cov Cath this go around. Sure you can say, well CCH is the better team b/c they just beat Ryle, but I just have a feeling that Ryle will pull it out this time.

Well, I certainly hope you are right, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that Ryle won't beat them if they put up another goose egg on the scoreboard.

Very bold prediction, but very possible. There is always the possibility that they will use an illegal pitcher and have to forfeit the game.

Anyone heard anything yet? I can't imagine they're going to be able to get this thing played. Spring weather in Cincinnati - you gotta love it. :mad:

I'll pick Cov.Cath. to win.The rain has stopped at Hebron and the field at Conner is draining very well.Also the wind has picked up this should help alot.Conner's field is in no way as good as the two fields mentioned above.Coach Walt and Coach Bill work very hard on there fields. Should be very good games! Play Ball!

If we hadn't had the amount of rain that we have had in the last month, nor the fifteen inches of snow that melted also in the last month, then I think there would be no problem in playing on Saturday. However with the field so full of moisture, I just don't think there is any way to get the fields ready to play a safe baseball game. Mother Nature pitches a no, no, at all four teams to win.
