If for no other reason than what you find out on BGP's about changes in games and location, it is worth the money to belong. If you miss a day, you miss a lot, is what the Enquirer wants you to believe, but indeed if you miss a day on BGP's, you do indeed miss a lot.

For anyone that was there...what is the current status of the Scott Knockelman Tourney? Is it still cancelled? Are they playing today and on Sunday just to get games in? I too like Preps for the updated info. If they play tomorrow I assume everyone will be in winter snow gear.

I understand they are playing just to get games in. I now Ryle is scheduled to play St. Henery at 3:00 tomorrow, but the rain looks like it's comming in...or the snow, who knows.

CovCath will not be playing Sunday, as the earliest they could have played was around 5pm and with the scheduled forecast, there is just no reason to get someone hurt, playing a meaningless game.

Don't think that CovCath will be pitching any of their front line pitchers on Tuesday or Wednesday this time around with the Beechwood seeding game coming up on Thursday. The Beechwood game is a must win game, and my guess is Krumps will want ever single starter ready for that game.

 

Even the weather forecast is calling for a pleasant day on Thursday, and if you want to get a seat, or even a spot to see this game, I would suggest you arrive around 4:30pm. The place with temps in the low 70's and a Beechwood vs. CovCath game, always brings out a huge crowd of not only our two schools fans, but baseball fans from all around NKy as well.

Personally, I am looking forward to seeing Mr. and Mrs. Elliott again. Great kid, wonderful parents, even if their son does play for Beechwood.

I'm not so sure that's entirely correct. I think this weekend's games were canceled but the tournament is still in a way going on. I think instead of counting the next games as just games, they will eventually crown a champion of the Knochelman, just in an unorthodox way.
