OK, OK long day at work and short, shot lunch break today. :sssh:

King of the Bluegrass! If you have never attended, your missing out on some great High School Basketball games. This year Cooper, CovCath (9th Region) and Walton Verona (8th Region) all will be playing in the KOB and I can only assume that the Schedule will be out soon.

Don't let him fool you, he has no more insight than anyone else, as the information is available to anyone, as they are off the Cincinnati Enquirer Website.

Maybe this isn't the right spot to mention this and they really might not like that I am posting this but a huge thank you to the CovCath Basketball Teams in volunteering to clean up Griffin Stadium after each home Varsity Football game. No they are not getting paid, they just wanted to support their School, Classmates and Friends on the CovCath Football Team and since they are already there, they clean up after the game. Well except this Friday night when they waited until Saturday morning, prior to the JV game to clean up. Volunteer they do but crazy they are not! :thumb:

While Coach Eviston has done a great job, I think he would not want anyone to think he did this all by himself. Below are his Assistant Coaches Terry Brown, Ben Patenaude, Ashley Moser, Tyler Gross, Sam Beiting, Lee Teegarden, Lynn Ray, Bryson Warner, Zeke Pike, Shahram Shafii, Ryan Studer, Dan Ryan, Joey Ledonne and Mark Reisinger. Bob Rowe Principal and Tony Bacigalupo Athletic Director Al these gentlemen have done a outstanding job.

POWER FIVE Each week Jason Frakes will provide his ranking of the top five teams in the state, regardless of class: * No. 5 – Pleasure Ridge Park (3-0). Panthers’ defense was solid in a 21-0 victory over Eastern on Thursday. Up next: hosts North Hardin (1-1) on Friday. * No. 4 – Covington Catholic (3-0). A.J. Mayer threw three touchdown passes as the Colonels blanked Cooper 41-0 on Friday. Up next: at Kings (Ohio) (1-1) on Friday. * No. 3 – Scott County (3-0). Brice Fryman rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns as the Cardinals beat Highlands 71-20 on Thursday. Up next: hosts Cincinnati Moeller (1-1) on Friday. * No. 2 – St. Xavier (2-0). Tigers racked up 343 rushing yards – led by Brett Metzmeier’s 141 – in Saturday’s 30-19 victory at Bowling Green. Up next: hosts Fairdale (1-1) on Friday. * No. 1 – Trinity (3-0). Nick Bohn passed for 490 yards and Rondale Moore had 22 catches for 304 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-30 victory over Cincinnati Moeller on Saturday. Up next: at Male (3-0) on Friday.

WAY BETTER than the 2006 State Champions or any other of the State Championship Football teams at CovCath? That we will have to wait and see!

Nope if you check back over the many, many, many, years I have posted on BGP's you will see this over and over again. When you look ahead, you get beat by the team you are overlooking. One win at a time, one game at a time and getting better each and everytime out has and always will be what I preach.

BTW with all the love for the Offense think about this if you will. The only score that the first Team Defense has given up so far this season, was the 1st play vs. Ryle where Chisholme from Smith went for a 75 yards TD, after that, only the second and third team has given up points against CovCath, as will as a safety on a bad snap on a punt. First team defense Vs Ryle 7 points Vs. LexCath 0 points vs Cooper 0 points

CovCath will play one game at a time and only one game at a time. Kings is up next and it will be another test. All you posters can say what you want, but CovCath will play one game at a time and only one game at a time. You all worry, write, project all you want, the kids and the Coaches will just play the next game.

Total offense CovCath 358 Cooper 104 Total rushing Covcath 198 Cooper 97 Total Passing CovCath 160 Cooper 07 Considering that the running clock started in the second quarter and CovCath didn't play their starters in the 3rd or 4th quarter, not a bad night at all. Was proud of the second and third team "D" who stopped Coopers starter a couple of times from scoring in what was a driving rain storm with the wind howling all game long. AJ Mayer, what can you say in throwing 3 TD passes (61, 61 and 18 yard) and 6/8/160 in this weather was indeed amazing.

The only stat CovCsth lost tonight was time of possenion and that was due to scoring so quickly. JV GAME 10 AM AT COVCATH

The DOS system while it is easier to use, took a while to get used to and I don't know if I like all the penalties that you have to look for, then post when there are some. Our IT department at CovCath is trying to set up a Cloud system with it but haven't had a lot of luck so far with it, they have gotten the team stats to work with it but not the individual stats.

Well if your not going to attend the game tonight and my guess is you won't, then listen in live to Mark and Kevin described the game to you live on CovCath Internet Radio with the kickoff coming at 7:30 pm. CovCath updates it's stats with the KHSAA and with the Cincinnati Enquirer SID pages. We use CBS "Stats Crew" which is a DOS system for not only Football but for Basketball as well. We send out over 50 emails after each game to the local Radio, Television and Media outlets throughout the Greater Cincinnati but also throughout the Commonwealth. I also post a scoring summary on my facebook page, as will as through Twitter and of course BGP's.

That was not the reason. Ask a Cooper Fan!

Hearing a lot about Outlook for Android. Is it worth? Is it and Free? Or is it like a lot of MS stuff on Android that it's free to try but after a bit you have to pay and pay big time for it! Just wondering,

Just win, doesn't matter by how many, just win and remember anything can and usually does happen, when you think you are going to blow someone out.

Loved the Casey Cat offense especially when he threw the ball out of it. You won't be able to just think run when, CovCath is running the Casey Cat.
