1. For you Deuce look at the stats from game 2 Courtney Ramey to Louisville: Cardinals Land 5-Star PG Prospect | Bleacher Report
 2. Was just told that by a person I trust, he didn't give me a name.
 3. I was told the young man who was guarding CJ is committed to UofL in CJ big game. Do I know that for sure? No, but it is what I was told.
 4. As promised stats for both Indy Elite games.... 2017-adidas-Summer-Championships Ind.pdf Indy Elite 63 Texas Pro 62 Indy Elite 75 Ramey Jets United 68 2017-adidas-Summer-Championships Game 2.pdf Game 2 Both Fredrick and Walter both score 20 For all the stats and scores adidas Summer Championships Stats 2017-adidas-Summer-Championships Ind.pdf
 5. Just received my Official CovCath 50th Anniversary T-shirt
 6. He hasn't tipped his hand to me at all, nor to anyone that I know of. Me? As long as he is happy with his pick, I will be happy with it! Really a great kid with such a nice Family.
 7. Indy Elite I was told won last night by one. Am waiting on a stats sheet. The number of calls that CovCath Coaches have received this past week about CJ availability from major to mid major school blows me away. Was told that Neb had their entire coaching staff at the game last night.
 8. During Football, Basketball or Baseball season, or during the dead period? During the dead period a ton, during the seasons, not as much! :thumb: It will 47 years in Oct.
 9. Was in charge of a Rest Area Cleaning crew here in NKy for years and our policy was to ask those who were panhandling if we could call the police for them and then the police would then get in touch with some local Churches who could help those truly in need. I can promise you that more 99.9% said don't call the police, then we would inform them that they needed to more on our we would call the police. Trust me, I have heard it all from heading to a funeral, to got robbed on the road, to running out of gas, but as I said, they all said not to call the police when asked. Oh and those who really needed help, the local Police through many local churches did indeed help them. I had a very strict policy that my guys were not allowed to give their own money to someone panhandling, for the good of all my employees.
 10. After attending the FCC vs. Islander match, we drove over to Strong Pizza in Newport. Just as great as I remember. We shared a 10 inch pizza and it was hot, tasty and served to us quickly with Bacon and onions. It hit the spot!
 11. FCC 3 Islanders 0 FCC moves up to 5th place with the "W" Goals by Djiby's, Konig and McLaughlin and Mitch earns a clean sheet. Had a great time at the match although the Lightning delays were a bit much since I never saw a lightning strike in the sky either time and during the second stoppage, the Reds were still playing.
 12. Let there be lights and so it happened! Both side of the field were lite last night for the first time at around 9 PM. So in the 50th year of Covington Catholic Varsity Football, CovCath has lights and what great lights they are!
 13. I understand, honestly I really do, (I worry about some baseball teams who place a 3rd baseman 3/4 down the third base line thinking a bunt is coming) but with the equipment covering the players, will they become unafraid of getting hurt and thus get hurt but not in the face or will it change the game, as to who it was suppose to be played?
 14. Just wondering but will the mask convince players that they can play even closer to the batter than they do already? So is the next rule change going to be to dress them up like catchers and stand a foot or two in front of the batter? :idunno:
 15. Son-in-law purchased a used 2016 Ford Fusion with only 21,000 miles and some change on it for $16,000 and the car was loaded and neither he nor I could find a scratch, dent, or scuff mark inside or outside of the car. The warranty of 3 years and or 36,000 will still be honored by the dealer and for just a couple hundred more he got a seven year or 100,000 mile warranty. He was able to put down enough to only finance 10,000. Yes he got a great deal!
 16. Yes Ricky, I knew that, as they have a large group of people who keep them, as most teams don't have stats staff. I attended the sessions this season in Ga. so I knew it but honestly, I have more faith in them, then I do in some of the parents, who seem to never keep track of TO's or missed shots. Don't want to make my kid look bad now do I. Take it for what you want but why ask if you think in advance, they aren't any good, just doesn't make sense!
 17. So why ask me for the stats if you heard they are inaccurate, makes me wonder!
 18. Thank you but CWB, Coach B, Rusty Schling, Bob Morris, Mike Young and some others can't be left out We do try, and I am proud of what we all do, for the School, the Alumni, the Players and most importantly the Parents of CovCath.
 19. Not at all when you consider CovCath usually played an Elder, Moeller, St. X and more top ranked teams (look at post 109) plus Highlands almost every year! Kind of hard to go 10-0 when you play those kind of schedules. Think about this year, CovCath plays Ryle, Kings (Ohio) LexCath, Columbus, Ohio DeSalles to name just four schools that will be hard to beat without talking about HHS, Dixie, Campbell, a team from Indy, Beechwood and Cooper. Tough to go 10-0 against that schedule.

 21. First "Daddy Linder" as you called Mr. Carl Linder, is dead and Mr. Linder wasn't some rich kid born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he worked and worked hard for the money he made for his family. Nothing wrong with that at all. It might be hard to find someone who has donated more to so many in Greater Cincinnati than Mr. Linder. His son Carl III is the majority owner of FCC! My wife happened to have worked with him when she worked for Great American Ins back years ago and she never said a negative word about the man, other than his Father expected him to learn the business from the bottom up. We in this area are lucky with Eight Fortune® 500 companies calling Greater Cincinnati “home”!

Company Fortune® 500 ranking Revenues

The Kroger Co. #18 $115.33 billion

P&G #36 $71.72 billion

Macy’s #110 $25.78 billion

Fifth Third Bancorp #389 $6.89 billion

American Financial Group #411 $6.5 billion

AK Steel #415 $5.83 billion

Cincinnati Financial #476 $5.45 billion

Western & Southern Financial Group #483 $5.4 billion

and these business have done, do a lot of good in our community. Me? I am looking forward to the Harrisburg match and the Club actually having a week between games, they haven't had that in a long while.
 22. Let's see Deuce, the old record was around 10,000 or maybe a few more at Sluggers Field for a Futbol match and at least from what I could see on my TV, it sure looked like the FCC fans were in numbers around 1,000 or so fans. SO....... Terrible fans migrating from one pro team to the other? Strange but the Reds fans are an older group may be averaging around the age of 45-65. The Bengals more of a 30-50 age group. FCC my guess is around 25-35. These are the kids that have grown up playing Futbol and made this area one of the largest areas of youth soccer in the USA behind Kansas City. They have played the game, love it, understand it and with the money they have, they followed their Club! BTW I have been to plenty of Futbol matches around the USA from Washington DC, Atlanta, Richmond, Bethlehem, Chicago, Columbus and have attended USL, MLS, WUSA, USMNT and USWNT World Cup Qualifiers, and World Cup Matches for both the Men and Women and I have yet to see a worse soccer pitch than what Sluggers Field has. It's so small and tell me please why UofL doesn't allow Lou City to rent it's Soccer or Football Fields. Does UofL they have that much money to not want to pick up some extra $$$$..... And Deuce, do you understand that as long as you are in eighth place or better you make the playoffs and if FCC were under that eighth place mark, then they would be in the bottom half but they aren't Standings Oh I hope you enjoy watching FCC in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Aug 2nd. FC Cincinnati vs. Miami FC - U.S. Open Gold Cup, Game recap, Wed., July 12, 2
