I want to know who has a better starting lineup. I have never said they would go undefeated or anything close. I believe most knowledgeable fans expect a few losses. However I see no teams that they play besides Duncanville that Scott will be the underdog. Scott County was a top four team all last year and I dont think anybody will argue that this team is better than last. How many losses do you see Scott Co. having? And how about your Holmes team do you expect them to go undefeated?

How many teams in the state do you consider to have a better starting lineup than Scott County? It will be an interesting year there are alot of people hoping for them to fall flat on their face. Will they do it? I dont think so. Only time will tell.

If you look at the talent that a school has now as well as the talent in the feeder programs it isnt even close. Scott Co. is the premier job in the state. The seventh and eighth grade teams are some of the best in the state, and everybody knows they have plenty of talent at the high school level. Scott County could go on a run in the next six years that is unmatched.

I would love to see that game. Scott Co will have a tuff week Holmes on the 14th and GRC on the 16th or 18th ( depends if it is moved to Memorial) The Scott County website says it will be held on Thursday the 18th at Scott Co. On the 16th they play at Dunbar and on the 20th they will be in South Carolina. So the date is pretty much set. As for the location who knows? In a six day stretch they play Holmes, Dunbar, and GRC.

Very good point. I have seen many Elliott Co. fans talk about how they have owned Euton and Jackson. However they have never had Guyn and Phares on their team. I think that changes things a little.

Right on! No matter who has transfered in to Scott Co. This is Richie's team, everything will be ran through him. He will be the one to lead them as far as they go.

Its all well and good you almost beat them last year, however this is a completly different team. I believe most would agree that this years team is better than last year. I also remember a game between the two teams last year that Scott Co won 74-39. I think Franklin will be a very good team and anything can happen on a given night. But Scott County would win 8 out of 10 times these two played.

This looks about right. No way Bryan Station, Mason Co., or Madisonville North Hopkins is top 10 in the state. Im not so sure that Lex Cath is , but I would say they would fall between 10-15. They lost alot of fire power last year and are very young in a lot of spots.

I dont believe they are a lock for a championship.I do believe they have to be one of the favorites. Do you think if they dont win state championship it is a huge choke job? I dont think so.

The Austin Flannery appeal ruling has finally came.The Board of Controls unanimously ruled him eligible for the upcoming season. He adds a little more depth for the Cards.

Scott County is playing Duncanville Tx. They will probablly be ranked preseason top 5 in the nation. I believe Scott county has the tougher schedule just with Duncanville, GRC, and Holmes. Holmes and GRC I believe will be ranked 2 and 3 right behind Scott County. Some people may even have Holmes ahead of Scott.

I know they are playing Duncanville TX at the Marshall County Hoopfest. They played them last year and it was a close game. They lost 68-62 in the final minute of the game. They have three major D1 recruits on that team. And two days before the Scott County game Duncanville takes on Oak Hill on ESPN.

I agree with you the seventh is brutal, but no more brutal than the 11th. The 11th was way better than the 7th last year. And this year the 7th will probably be stronger. It goes in cycles with these two, as to who is the best. However there is no denying that these are the strongest two regions in the state year in and year out. Alot of times the teams 1-4 in each region could win the state championship with a few breaks.

Scott County should be heavy favorites in the 11th, however on any given night things happen. The Madison Central team you speak about beat a Scott County team full of Sophmores.With a year of seasoning they showed how good they were by winning the State championship and going undefeated in-state. Scott County is the only team this year that has kept there two best players and gotten better players by transfer. There will be alot of people to cheer against Scott County, it will be very interesting to see how the players respond. I believe they will respond very well and be a very good team. If you look at player rankings Scott County has the #2 ranked Senior, #1-3 Juniors, and the #1 and #4 ranked Freshman. No team in the state can come close to that firepower. But as they say on any given night.

I believe he will receive more minutes than you think. He is a 3-point specialist, he should get plenty of open looks. Teams are going to leave him open as they will have to double Phares and Euton. If he can hit open shots there will be alot of playing time for him. Also I believe he played alot this summer.

Its actually probably 5, Tamron Manning could go down as one of the best ever to play at Scott County.

They all live in Georgetown Ky. So they are Scott County boys. I dont care how long they have lived there, they are Cardinals!
