Ky Patriots (Chad Jackson, Dakota Euton,Josh Sewell,Austin Flannery, Donovan Gibbs, Chris Richard, Clay Coleman) beat Memphis YOMCA team by over 20 to reach 16U AAU final four in Orlando.

Talked with Clay yesterday and he said that they are playing very well!

Hope that they win it all!!!

Isn't that Jamal Mashburn's old team

Still is. Monster Mash hit the winning three.

Just kidding (obviously).

I just want to tip my hat to the Patriots coaches, players and parents. Getting to the Final Four is huge. Any of the Final Four teams could win the whole deal on any given night. It's an amazing accomplishment. Certainly something to be proud of, in a good way. :thumb:

Who coaches the team?

Kyle "the Style" Tackett is the head man.

These young men, finished 3rd in the Nationals. An excellent showing.

The KY Patriots go 8-1 in the 16U Division 1 AAU National tournament with 145 teams in it, and bring home the Bronze after beating

Florida Elite by 13.

Third in the nation is not too bad for a bunch of boys from KY.

Congratulations!

The Scott County boys are playing great this week! Euton, Jackson, and Flannery with the Patriots winning the bronze. And Richie Phares with D.S Allstars in the final eight. Good job guys.:thumb:

Congrats to all the Kentucky boys!

Congratulations, big week for some of you guys!

Gee, I hope none of their parents talked to each other while they were at nationals or the KHSAA might repeal their bronze medal.

Oh wait, AAU isn't governed by the KHSAA yet.

Maybe they should add another "A" to become AAAU, the "American Amateur Athletic Union" to distinguish themselves from socialist organisations.
