The best new gym in Kentucky is the Expo Center at Pikeville. There is not a bad seat in the house and all seats have backs. The place holds a ton of people also.....

This should be a close game between two good teams but I think Hazard will win a close one by 3 because they are more familiar with the gym...

I was hoping Knott would be better this year but it looks like another down year for them after falling to 3-7 on the year.

Not sure of point totals but Clark Stepp,Cox and Trey Short were in double figures...

I thought Mason would win this one but not by this much. It will be hard for Bishop to overcome this when they might meet in regional play. I think this may narrow the 10th region from 3-4 teams to just Mason and GRC.IMO

This should be a great show from 2 good teams...

Good win for Wolfe but I did not see this one coming. Does anyone know what happened in this one?

1. IMO JBS has the most talent if they play team ball. 2. Shelby Valley is undefeated and has alot of young talent. They could very easily win this if the young kids can play in this kind of atmosphere. 3. Hazard is very good with probably the best player in the tourney in Hicks and they will do as good as he does. 4. Perry Central is playing on their home floor and have talent and a great coach. The rest of the teams could get hot and make a run like Harlan did last year when they beat Paintsville in the first round.

Congrats to Nehi West and his team. He does a wonderful job of getting the most out of his players...

Knott has lost 5 in a row but is very capable of beating Breathitt but they are going to have to finish a game like they start it.

I think Breathitt will win this one by 8....

I think JBS hit 20 threes for the night ...

Professor, That is not what happened in this game. JBS played their first and second five for the first three quarters and mixed the third five in during the fourth quarter. JBS hit extremely well from the outside and I could see the Owsley coach was frustrated that no matter who he concentrated on someone else would hit the shot. The young Stepp kid came off the bench and hit 8 threes in the game. The scoring was well distributed with Clark Stepp having only 22 in a game he could have had a lot more. Owsley just caught JBS on a night that they played their best game of the year.

Knott shot 9 freethrows in the game. I was not there and not sure of the difference but that was the difference in the game. Knott does have a good team but has to learn to win games at the end.

JBS rotated 10 players in the first three quarters of the game and played the whole bench in the 4th quarter. I think JBS scored 4 points in the last 4 minutes of the game.

Perry Central hit 32 out of 35 freethrows and that was the difference in the game. Knott had the lead after the first three quarters and the three point difference at the end was Perry Centrals biggest lead. Congrats to both teams on a hard fought game.

I thought Congleton played well for Owsley...

I am not sure but Clint Stepp(the younger one) or Cox probably had the most points but the scoring was balanced out as all the kids played...

I think that all districts should be seeded and not voted on. It would make every game in the district more important and interesting...

JBS seemed to play a more up tempo game than they have previously this season and shot real well from the 3 point line. This is probably the best I have seen them play as a team this year. Clark Stepp and Tate Cox distributed the ball well all night long and Garrrison Collins and Trey Short controlled the boards and proved to be too much for Owsley inside. Clint Stepp (Clarks younger brother)the freshman hit 8 threes I think.
