  1. 1 & 3 for sure. It has nothing to do with God and that isn't even what he is describing. 2 & 4 depends on how much of a "show" they put on. So it could be that all 4 are unsportsmanlike.
  2. That would be the first in years, of course, I might have missed one or two games over the last 10 plus years.
  3. Uh, the first play was a pass interference call so. If you want to count penalty yards, ok. Like I said in the update thread...when are teams going to realize that Coach Borchers always throws a pass the first play on offense in every game, all the way back to Ludlow.
  4. Outside of the two plays I mentioned, I wonder if Cooper had over 125 yards of offense.
  5. I am curious to find out the stats for the game.
  6. Cooper essentially had zero offense except for two plays. The pass to Hedrix and the TD pass. SK had first and goal from inside the five and had zero points to show for it...to Coopers credit but the did miss the field goals.
  7. I was just using a version of the quote from Dumb and Dumber about chance. Two things 1) Cold one? True Catholic style....blue Gatorade no doubt 2) Thinking it while the other teams knows it It would not surprise me if CCH won, this might be the best chance they have had in awhile.
  8. Or the proof in the pudding is that the player H#1 is concerned about was properly evaluated.
  9. So, you agree with my assessment of your posts? Cool!
  10. So you are saying they have a chance... I still think it is hope, maybe more hope than recent years but still hope.
  11. Both teams are likely to only have two wins apiece when they meet in Park Hills.
  12. I knew you were going to ask that question. I think Highlands walks out on that field and knows they will win.
  13. Funny and yes the bands along with soccer use the football field more than the three football teams at most schools.
  14. I think in the CCH/HHS game one team knows and believes they will win and one teams hopes they will win. In high school football, those types of mind sets are huge.
  15. All you do is come on here and say they need to play different kids. Now according to this post they played different kids and you have a problem with it. Makes sense....
  16. Based on what some have posted, they were only missing one starter, TCA. I do not think the game was close, I thought SK dominated and the scoreboard makes it look better than it was, IMO.
  17. I do. I think it is awesome to overcome not having those players and the early game turn overs. They could have easily hung their heads and quit, especially following last weeks heart breaking loss. But they didn't they sucked it up and kept playing football. Well done young men!
  18. Well, that is basically what you said...nothing wrong with going at them...
  19. You know not all of them were when he was isolated with Kincaid. I think at least two came when he was lined up in the slot. Another catch was a wr screen. The big drop he had was on defense though, that was six and he could have back peddled the last 30 yards and still scored. Would have been huge and just think that was right after Cooper finally scored.
  20. To me it looks like he is told who to throw it to and if that person is not open, he is kind of on his own. Doesn't appear to be a lot of certainty in his progression, if there is one. In his defense, didn't seem like he had much time at all. It is hard to get comfortable when they come at you from all different angles and are relentlessly pursuing you everywhere. Yes, he does have a strong arm. If he just had a little more swagger or confidence he would be even better and quicker on his decisions. I like him on roll outs, there you can have one read, if it's not there turn it on because he can fly. Lots of potential and isn't this his first time playing Qb?
  21. I was pretty close to that play. To me the ball hit the ground about a foot before the goaliine on the initial reach and it slid across while he was holding it. But it was pretty bang bang
  22. It is amazing that some on here think that it is/was ok for adults to yell and cheer AT high school kids!! What at do they do high five each other in the stands and say, "did you hear what I said to that 14 year old girl? I told her!"
  23. Maybe they were teaching some Econ principles or doing a Sociology research project...wait, I got it, they needed to increase the scholarship fund to get some players from across the river....just joking and referencing topics from the past....
