I think they played Mon., Thurs., the reps in the second half on Friday night, and then today.

Heard someone in the Fayette Co. "powers that be" communicated some sort of verbal reprimand to the Dunbar coaches for scheduling this game agianst Lexington Catholic.

I think he has a better shot playing DB at a higher level school, than if he want to play QB in college.

Hopefully this is one step closer to ALL Lexington teams playing in season, without having to do it because of being in the same district, but because they should play each other.

From what I understand, It was not a school official that turned Woodford Co. in, but a parent. I don't know for sure, but from what I have heard, the parent doesn't have a child that plays soccer. Other things that I have heard speak to the fact that Woodford Co. did the same thing last year, but was not caught. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't someone watching a PGA tournament call the association to report a violation on Tiger Woods, that the person saw on TV?

If you play cover 3 I wouldn't ever throw vertical routes down the field. I'd, run guys down field and then just throw an intermediate cross where you don't cover. By the way, with over 2/3rds of all routes have at least one route going vertical down the field, I don't think that is really a problem.

True to the fact that Mumme teams do not, and never ran a no-huddle. Franklin did develop the wristband system that many are going to. Not simply that the bands have the play on them. Franklin developed the wristbands that were specific for each position while the head coach of the Lexington Horsemen. Each position band tells the player exactly what to do, as far as route and depth, blocking assignment, ect.

Don't make it sound so simple. While there may be a small number of "base" plays, each play can have over 50 variations each.

Does either team try to show "all thier stuff", knowing the likely possibility that these teams will play in round one (#2 vs. #3). Maybe home field will be worth that much come November.

Knights win on the road in district. Rules question: At the end of the 1st quarter, there was a defensive penalty. Is it correct that there is an untimed down at the end of a quarter? I do know that it is one at the end of the half. Number 2: At the end of the second quarter, East completed a pass and the clock ran to 0:00 during the play. It appeared to me that the reciver was tackled in bounds but the officials said he was not. They stopped the clock (which already showed 0:00) and gave East Jess. another down. East then spiked the ball(with 0:00 on the clock) and then ran a second play, throwing the ball into the endzone incomplete to end the half. There were no defensive penalties during this strange sequence.

Harrison reoverd an onside kick that went 9 yards with 4:00 left in the game. Apparently, the officials didn't really want to be there either.

Friday night, the decision was made by Ray Graham and the principal. The Super axed it and forced a Sunday afternoon game.

The vote I'm sure is taken before the state championship game. I'm sure that the vote would've been closer between Burke and Johnson if that made a difference last year.
